Margaritas on the Rock is hands down one of the best places to relax and unwind on the island! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fun, laid-back, and full of energy — exactly what you want from a lakeside spot in Put-in-Bay.
The location is absolutely amazing, right downtown near the lake. The margaritas are incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and dangerously smooth! I tried the classic and the mango, and both were perfectly balanced. They’re generous with the pour too, which is always a win. The staff was friendly, quick with service, and really added to the overall good vibe of the place.
As for the food, it totally exceeded my expectations. The tacos were loaded with flavor and fresh ingredients, and the chips and salsa were the perfect starter — crisp and zesty with just the right kick.
Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or planning to settle in for a few hours of fun, Margaritas on the Rock delivers. Great drinks, tasty food, awesome music, and a location that just screams summer vacation. Can’t wait...
Read more02 July 2018 We decided to stop and try this place out since we could not find it listed or any reviews of it on Google or TripAdvisor. If you want to drink it might be okay, the drinks had good flavor but for the amount and price it's not worth it. Do Not order food. We ordered chips with the salsa, guacamole and cheese dips; the salsa was pizza sauce plain and simple, the guacamole was tasteless and the cheese dip also tasteless, it could have been warm Elmer's glue but at least the glue has a better aroma. Best advice for them is hire a real cook and buy real ingredients. They also need fans to move some air, there was no air moving and that made staying not an option on a hot day. If the owners would check out places that are popular and take note of what makes the customers comfortable and happy, willing to stay and spend money, take it...
Read moreRacist place ! We were so hungry when we got there. The environment of this place was appealing . Went there, asked a waitress if we can sit by ourselves or they will assign us a table . She said we can sit on any unoccupied table and one of the staffs will come and attend us . So we sat on an unoccupied table. Waited almost 30 minutes. The waiter/waitresses passed over our table multiple times. But none of them bother to ask us for even water . But a group of white people who came after us were asked for water and given the menus few minutes after they arrive. We left the place after waiting for 30 minutes!! Hungry and super irritated . This is not a place to go if you are...
