Dairy Isle — Restaurant in Put-in-Bay Township

We had a 10% off coupon ... low and behold the stupid lady who took our order forgot to take off the 10% amount. I had to go back to her and point out to her that my receipt showed NO 10% discount. She said there was so much going on that she forgot!! There was NOTHING going on besides her taking my order!! Well, maybe it was that she got caught up with her stupidity and rudeness. This business makes the customer strictly follow their rules. Imagine having strict rules to eat!! My advice is GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Also they charge you a dollar more for onion rings. My 9-yr old granddaughter got onion rings ... they were all broken and there was only about 5 of them on her plate with her corn dog. Again ... Go Somewhere Else. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!! Please note: since the time we ate our burgers at Dairy Isle we got hungry for some ice cream. Did we dare go back to this place for ice cream --HECK NO!!! if they have the best burgers on the island, I feel bad for the rest of the island. IT was fair burger. Freezer burnt fries. I like the decor, and temperature (cool 70's on a 90degree day outside). The employee's were friendly. The whole menu looked like cheap frozen food microwaved for you like a 7-11 / DM dining experience. My Kids at burgers at boardwalk a few years ago and they said those were delicious and those at Dairy Isle (this weekend) were not even the same class of food. The ice cream in waffle cones looked delicious and if I liked my lunch better, I may had tried one but since I was disappointed with lunch, I was ready to get out of there. Maybe i'll try that on my next trip...

very expensive the taste of the food didn't add up to the price . I got 2 of the walking tacos $11.99 each (very salty), $11.99 cheesbuger was no bigger than a Mcdonalds cheeseburger, $4.99 hotdog (decent size tho), 3 oreo flurries $7.99 each I got more vanilla ice cream than the taste of the oreo's mainly because they only put them on top so my order came up to $64 wasn't even a whole meal I thought I was at an amusement park with these prices (cedar point) aint even this high & the foods better in my opinion. cute lil place tho , good customer service & fairly fast service considering how many people in there at once but I came on a Saturday so its...
