Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

It first satrts as a burrito...he forgets what kind of beans. I tell him it's a Veggie. I asked twice for the Fajita...also the HOT salsa and twice the Mild salsa. I ask for Guac. NO cheese. The ladiy wraps it up and marks it S(steak) /w G(Guacamole)...REALL?!?!? She continues to think its a Steak w/Guacamole...I said NO!!! She charges my card and I say NO It's a Veggie, NO Cheese, NO sour cream. Thank GOD that happen. The three preps carefully open the burrito to find that its a VEGGIE Burritto!!! REALLY!!! The Hard Part is that it wasn't even busy enough to make a simple mistake. If it was the first time I would have blown it off. More like the third time. I know the turn around is more then 75% there and that sucks...gonna suck even more if it doesn't get fixed. JUst saying...Thank You...

We ordered our meal online like we always do, got to the establishment and still had to wait 15 minutes for our food. We figured since it was really busy we would cut the workers a break. When we returned to the office to eat I opened my chicken bowl and the guac was turn (brown) as if it has been sitting out for an hour or so, the guac for our chips was better (not by much) so I used that. While eating I noticed that my cicken bowl tasted really salty and the more I ate it started to have an overwhelming flavor of lime. The chicken was burnt, and the rice was all clumped together. I'm not sure what happened today but I am far from satisfied. We eat here all the time and this has been the third time that I feel money was wasted. Chipotle used to be so good--one of my favorite restaurants. But their quality has gone down so drastically over the years. At least at this location the quality has made it no longer worth it to go.

We went to try to new carne asada. Very little of mine was edible. While the meat had a good flavor most of it was fat or gristle. There was one chunk of what should have been three separate strips that were so tough they were unable to cut it. Of the whole thing there were about four strips of meat I could actually eat.

On top of that, the chips we ordered were stale. Very stale. I ate two before deciding I was done.

Costa Vida is close by and significantly better. Given their drastic differences in quality for comparable prices I have no reason ever to return...
