Jade Asian Restaurant — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

I had the opportunity to dine in this newly opened restaurant of one month in the City of Rancho Cordova. Located near the Skechers Shoe Store, across from Popeye's Chicken. Now those lover's of great Chinese food will find and love this restaurant for what they have to offer. Not only is the food fairly priced to the quantity (amount) that you get per order but the quality of each dish is fresh, well prepared and "Delicious ". I have been looking for a great Chinese restaurant in this town and have not found one in Rancho Cordova that compares to this place. I asked about "MSG" in their cooking and none is used. Their Calimari is crispy as well as their Egg Rolls, nicely seasoned. I ordered the Pork Chowmein, Asparagus Chicken with Garlic Sauce (they kindly replaced the Black Bean sauce),Sweet and Sour pork which was lightly battered and crispy, and the final dishes is the Mapo Tofu and Eggplant which was nicely seasoned and a party to the tastebuds. We were a bit disappointed but that is mainly because they don't measure up to the quailty of some other restaurants a lot further away. It is probably on par with the prior ppl that ran this location. 3 employees were walking through the dinning room as I walked in the door and 2 of them ignored me while talking amonst themselves while the other gave them the death stare from across the room for a good 10 seconds before acknowledging me. Fried rice and, Beijing Beef were really good. Chow Mein was decent. Orange Chicken and, Sweet and Sour Pork were disappointing. My wife and I decided to give this place a try they are new to the Rancho Cordova area which is great to have another Chinese food option in town. We ordered vegetable egg rolls and starters and then ordered vegetable fried rice, beef chow mein and sesame chicken with light sauce. The food was pretty good the portion sizes are well served so we definitely had some to go after we ate. We will more than likely continue to frequent this place.
