Absolutely horrible customer service. I’ve gone to many taco bells, but this one only twice, both times something has gone wrong. The first time they missed an item on my order and when I called about it the person very rudely told me that they were a manager and the item I ordered doesn’t exist, when it very clearly stated it on my receipt, and hung up on me. I never got my food or my refund because it “doesn’t exist” and there was “nothing they could do about it.”
The second time I ordered online, but only AFTER they took my money, did I get a notification saying this restaurant is closed, at 2pm in the afternoon. I decided I wasn’t going to be mad at the restaurant, simply because they don’t control online orders that’s through the big corporation. So, I went to the location to double check. Before I greeted the lady at the door she rudely told me that the store was closed. I verbally acknowledged that it was closed, however, tried to explain that the store still took my money therefore I wanted to know if I could get a refund or anything, and before I could get more than five words out she interrupted me stating one again that the store is closed. And I said okay, but— And she wouldn’t let me speak or explain anything. I left out of frustration and went back into my car and called the store again 10 minutes later to finally get an explanation and figure out what to do.
I was told that I could pick up my food the next day. The following day I went to go pick up my food only to receive the exact same experience.
Let’s see if I can get my food tomorrow and see if I receive any type of compensation due to this terrible customer service and delaying my order for TWO days!! With the service I’ve been receiving though, probably not.
Mind you, I’ve worked at two fast food places in this area before, it’s not that hard to deliver good customer service. I understand that there are things out of your capabilities, but simply listening to a customer and hearing them out is fully within a person’s capabilities, even for those who are in training still. There’s no...
Read moreWhat can I say about my visit to Taco Bell. This time around I was staring at the dollar menu. It look like new stuff to try and I picked for the first three of the first items on the menu. I don't remember what they were exactly some of them they were basically. Well I don't know what the exact names were. They were mini mini burritos. I mean for a dollar they were pretty cool so I like I said I got three of those. I think the first one had meat potatoes and the second one had rice beans and some spices and then the third one had some really spicy chicken in it so they were all pretty good. And hay for a dollar, you're a starving students in between pay days or you forgot to go to the ATM or whatever dollar for each of those things are pretty good I mean.... They definitely better than the two tacos for a buck or whatever they are now at the clown in the Box. Oh they also have dollar desserts on the dollar menu. I did get an apple empanada which is my mom's favorite. You should come on out and try the dollar menu there's other stuff on there that are great too. Apparently there's a $3 menu which I didn't stare at very long. There's also the five dollar box they usually have two different kinds available for that so yeah definitely come on out. True it's not genuine genuine genuine Mexican food but hey unless you're actually South of the Border there really isn't a whole lot of those that are that are actually like that. Well actually if you go in West Sac or even well yeah maybe Adalberto's but anyway Taco Bell's dollar menu is...
Read moreThis review is for the fellow who wanted an ice cup (water cup is the equivalent to this) and was denied, and then was subsequently harassed out of the building by the staff.
I understand that this seems to be up to the shift manager. As I was at this same location, about a week ago, and was not denied a water cup when I asked. Granted I had already paid for food. The man was audibly upset, not rowdy (from my perspective), but he decided to order food to get the drink. I only know this as I offered to buy him the drink, but he chose to buy a meal as he was hungry anyway. Now this fellow also came in with an electric scooter as well. He was actively ordering from the kiosk and was then told he can't have his scooter inside. To which he was confused and eventually left without causing a scene.
I don't quite understand why this was done. I saw no posted signage on the building that bicycles and electric scooters were not allowed inside.
There was also a bicycle sitting against a wall near the bathrooms and this was never addressed. This was there before and after the man with the scooter came and left. Then a lady came in a few minutes later to pickup an order, with her electric scooter in tow, and was not harassed by the staff. If this is another shift manager choice, the bias was quite clear.
Handling upset customers is one thing, but driving them off when they're willing to pay for the drink and meal is another. More than likely I'll end up returning to this location despite this review as it is one of the few Taco Bells...
