This is an update on my review because service at fast food places change all the time. I wish there were a 2/12 Stars. But in the end I gotta put 2 because it's multiple offenses. I won't put 1 because it is okay if you order the right thing at the right time. And service is prompt, probably to prompt, rather have fresh hot food rather than old quick food. Especially if there is no line!
My most recent experiences have been mediocre at best. The food has taken a pretty good hit on hot and fresh. It is no longer hot and fresh. It is quick and old. Especially the fries, they will give you the oldest, stalest fries possible. It's pure laziness.
I ordered curly fries hoping beyond hope that maybe they will make them fresh, if nobody else has been ordering then... WRONG! They must have given me fries that were 4 hours old. Barely warm and so stale I almost went back.
Why should I have to order fries with no salt just to get fresh hot fries? ā¬ ļø (Pro Tip)
But that's the thing isn't it? I am betting most of us don't bother complaining or going back once you get all the way home. It's bad enough thinking about having to check your food in the parking lot just in case it's wrong just to park and go inside to complain. Who wants to do that? Nobody that's who. So they get away with murder basically.
So I am posting here in the hopes that you will read and know. Your meal will be mediocre at best. The All-American Ribeye beef burger I ordered wasn't even hot. Just luke warm. Which is actually why I hate ordering fast food now a days, it seems like the food is never really hot, especially the burgers. Pay attention and you'll see what I'm talking about. So for the price, order at your own risk. If you've been reading my posts you know I know what I'm talking about. I post good or bad. I will begin to include...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve had a previous issue with this location but decided to try again. The first time I had an issue with them, I placed a large order through their app for pickup. I showed up earlier than my pick up time and waited in my car in the parking lot. This was later in the evening and there werenāt any other cars in the parking lot while I was there. I pulled up to drive through to pick up my food and they just stared at me and said someone just picked it up a couple minutes ago. I said thereās no way thatās possible because Iāve been sitting in the parking lot for 15 minutes and no one has been there. They said āyeah they showed an ID with your name on itā Again, not possible bc my name is spelled pretty uncommon, and again, Iāve been sitting in the parking lot (Iāve also never been asked for ID for pick up orders at any drive through) They just stared at me and finally said āwell do you want us to remake it?ā I said yes and they had me pull around to wait. After almost 20 minutes, they walked out to my car and said some things in my order were not things they even had at this location. So how did they āmakeā and give my order to someone else? I contacted support that night and 3 weeks later got an email that said āthank you for your feedbackā
Today, I paid for about $100 worth of food for my whole family through their app for delivery. My burger didnāt even have a patty on it! I was missing another sandwich and an order of fries. (The bags were sealed with stickers so I know the doordash driver didnāt take it) I tried to call the store, no answer. I tried to dispute through their app, but essentially all you can do is send an email. Which Iām sure I wonāt get a response to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy work office recently relocated to down the street from this Jack in the Box location. A few weeks after I settled in, I went here for lunch. Ordered ahead on the app for drive-thru pickup. Went around lunch time, 12:30pm, so I expected a line. There were 3 cars ahead of me. I started a podcast while waiting. I finished the 45-minute podcast, & had only moved up 1 car in line. I could not leave the line at that point, as the drive-thru is cordoned off with concrete. 20 minutes later, I made it to the speaker, & was asked to wait. 10 minutes of silence later, I asked if I could order. I was told "OK", then communicated that I had an online order. I was told to pull forward. 10 minutes later, I made it to the window. My heart broke to see what appeared to be 1 older woman working by herself, preparing orders, taking orders, & operating the cash register. It seemed that she was new, as she was struggling with inputting info into the screen. I cannot imagine what immense failure of management cause this to happen. I feel very sorry for that poor woman, who likely was verbally berated by others in line who had a little less patience than I. I chalked it up to a bad staffing day.
I returned a few months later to try again & had an experience that took about 30 minutes in its entirety. Better, but still unheard of for a fast food chain.
Now, if I am craving Jack in the Box for lunch, I drive 15 minutes away to one that is normal.
Hopefully this review will lead to upper management taking notice. Staff is suffering under these poor...
