On Wednesday Nov 13, 2024 from 12:30pm to 1:45pm we went to Red Robin in Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino, Ca. We were taking 2 our table near the bar area by the window. I ordered my Favorite grill Salmon with a side of broccoli and of course sweet potatoes fries. 3 more couples behind us were seated and they received their food at least 20 minutes before us while we still waiting for ours. Finally my order came in and the salmon was burnt on one side and uncooked at the other with missing broccoli. Immediately I called the waiter and the order was taking back. The manager by the name of Ingrid came by and apologized for the situation and said that they ran out of broccoli and I was right about sending the food back. Then Ingrid said, ,”How can I make it up to you?”, I said a good discount will be nice. They replaced the broccoli with a salad and brought me a second plate with salmon and sweet potatoes fries that looked nothing like the picture in the menu. So the service was terrible and I was treated like a second class citizen. At the end of the lousy lunch the only discount they gave was -$6.47 out of. $47 and some change. Keep in mind this is a place I visited many times before but that day was their worst day in terms of service, customer satisfaction and then charging full price for such a lousy meal. I will be looking for other places to eat in Rancho Cucamonga. Shame on you Red Robin. It was not about the money but the principle of treating all customers equally and fair, certainly I was not and as long as you keep on treating people like that we will stop going to your establishment. Read moreTheir food is usually fine. Service yesterday was kind of sad though. I went with my boyfriend and 2 other people and we must have had like 5 different people wait us. Our main waiter was a tall guy on the wider side, and even though he was our actual waiter he barely ever showed up to our table, and the service was incredibly slow with people in my groups food being delivered with stuff we asked to not have on our burgers. I ordered an unlimited root beer float, was never asked if I wanted a refill by anyone, and he kept sending other people to bring me water too instead of what I actually ordered, and never brought me a spoon/silverware I requested multiple times just to get ignored... Because he never showed up to our table we just paid through the tablet on the table, but still had to wait like 15 minutes for him to come back with a box and to go cups. When he did finally come he gave us empty to go cups, and when I told him again that I wanted a root beer float to go he got confused and took another 10 minutes just for that... He asked if I already paid when we had been trying to leave for like 25 minutes and had NEVER gotten a refill the entire meal, and never even apologized. When he did finally bring me my 2nd overall drink it was in a small to go cup and we left without him ever offering a refund for the drinks i paid for but never got, or even a little sorry, I would have been fine with even more cups of root beer but all I got was water :( We still gave him a good tip since thats the right thing to do, but I'm very disappointed in the service. Went to sit in an emptying booth in the bar area, I specifically wanted to sit there to be able to have a clear view my Truck with over $2,000 dollars of worth of merchandise I just bought from Floor and Decor that was in the open bed. As soon as I sat at the now-empty booth the Manager Sal came over and immediately told me Me and my husband couldn't sit there unless we are a party of 6! He said he wanted to keep the table open for big parties who wanted to watch the game... in the half empty bar area. Although I told him WHY I wanted to sit there, even pointed out my truck covered in boxes he still had a bad attitude! Also, this big game watching crowd never arrived.(Sigh) After our delicious meal and great service, I asked the kind server to send over the Manager again so I could express displeasure and negativty I felt from my interaction with him as he only was the worst part of my visit! Again, he offered a very smug, and non-genuine apology. Even after I pointed out the ANT infestation in the window sill at our booth that I noticed as a few ants crawled on me that I had to smack and kill! No change in him...just more bad attitude. No kind of kind gesture, not even for the Ants.... he couldn't even take the single cup of after dinner coffee we ordered off the check to make things better.
