I cannot say enough good things about this place and it’s all because of the owners Adam and Kayla. They are such incredible people. I’ve never felt so warm and welcomed when walking into a business. Adam greeted us at the door with handshakes and introduced himself. Kayla chatted with us at the bar and gave us great recommendations. We’ve been back several times since and they both remember us which is so special! Add fantastic wine and prices on top of that and you’ve got us coming back as often as we can!! We’ve tried a bunch of what they have to offer by glass and the best part is once you find a wine you like you can purchase the bottle, drink it there, and whatever you don’t drink you can take home! The Grape Escape Redding California, if you live here and haven't tried it or if you are passing through please try to stop and try it! Amazing atmosphere, amazing people, delicious food amazing wine just an all-round great experience and let me tell you if you don't like wine your mind will be changed once you visit The Grape Escape!! My husband never liked wine but this place changed his mind!!

It was just an all-around great...

I rarely write reviews, but this little wine bar is too exceptional. The owners were so friendly and happy it was hard not to love this place before we even sat down. The homey atmosphere only added to the ambience. It feels like the quaint tasting rooms you'd find in Callistoga or St Helena, but in the heart of downtown Redding. The wine was delicious, the crepizza we had was delicious, and the top notch service only added to the overall experience. I only wish it was open more days of the week so we could go more often!
