We tried a variety of sips & nibbles; lattes and crepes.
Crepes Sena - Smoked salmon, mozzarella, cream cheese, dill, green onion Chicken Bake - White cheddar, chicken, bacon, alfredo, basil Limoncello - Lemon zest, raw sugar, butter Strawberries ân Creme - Strawberry jam, cream cheese
Sips Latte Dulce , Latte Dulce /w Caramel, London Fog, and Chai Latte
The crepe its self was light, fluffy, the proper texture, cooked well. The fillings were generous and balanced. We savored our bites and it was a wonderful experience. The Limoncello is simple, great for a purist to appreciate. The Sena (Salmon), was very brunchy, loved the dill sauce, plenty of salmon, delicious. The Chicken Bake was really filling, contained super tasty REAL bacon and chicken. I want to note that Doppio uses real ingredients. The Strawberries and Creme was jammy and gooey, perfect and not TOO sweet.
For the sips, I loved the Latte Dulce, they use Nemesis coffee beans from Vancouver a very delicious balanced well made sip. As you can see I loved it so much I ordered another and added caramel which I'd recommend. There is room for improvement on their in house made Chai. While they do use their own custom blend/mix of actual spices it was barely a light steep of Chai. Rethink this recipe please. The London Fog should also be stronger, you used a wonderful brand of tea, but it needs to steep longer, maybe steep a concentrate ahead of time, or two bags per cup.
The atmosphere, design choices etc, works well, but there are only a few big and tall / plus size there is one bench seat that will work. The tables are beautiful marble and cast iron legs.
The staff were very welcoming, warm, friendly, we had conversations, they discussed the actual products they use (which is how I could mention the Nemesis Coffee Beans). 5 stars on the people, and service. Super team / Well Honed Team.

Read moreI stopped by this cafĂŠ expecting to quickly grab a cup of coffee. Nothing complicated â just a simple, single drink to go. The place was moderately busy, but not packed. Unfortunately, what shouldâve been a 3-minute transaction turned into a 35+ minute ordeal of standing, waiting, and being completely ignored.
Despite ordering well after multiple groups who were seated and waiting on full meals, my tiny, one-drink order was inexplicably buried behind omelets, sandwiches, and God knows what else. I watched as staff prioritized table orders over the clearly easier, faster task of getting me my coffee and moving me along. Not only was this inefficient, it was just plain lazy.
When I (very politely) asked how much longer it would be, I was met with a dismissive âfour people ahead of youâ â ignoring the obvious fact that those four people were seated, dining in, and waiting on full plates of food. Meanwhile, Iâm still standing there like an idiot for a single to-go coffee. No apology. No sense of urgency. Just a smug, âWhat can you do? You already paid.â
That says it all, doesnât it?
There are countless coffee shops that understand how to balance dine-in and takeout â and how to treat a customer with basic respect and consideration. This is not one of them. I will not be returning, and I suggest you think twice before wasting your time...
Read moreNah-man! This was not the experience I was hoping for.
I recently visited Doppio with the intention of enjoying a crepe and supporting a local restaurant. Walking in, I couldn't help but appreciate the quaintness of the shop. The servers were pleasant and eager to assist. The menu was somewhat limited, but hey, sometimes thatâs a good thingâit allows the chefs to be masters of their craft. After all, only the Cheesecake Factory can get away with offering 100 items on the menu and still do it well.
Seeing the limited options, I decided to try the Churro-inspired crepe. Sadly, while it was tasty, the crepe underwhelmed and felt overpriced. To add to the disappointment, the tip prompt after paying the excessive cost for the crepe seemed entirely misplaced. I love tipping my servers, but not when I'm already charged an amount that should cover a good salaryâand definitely not when the tip starts at 20% and goes up from there.
For the non-pretentious folks reading this, I've got a remedy: head to Costco and pick up a pack of La Boulangere crepes. You get 20 ready-to-eat crepes for $10.00. Itâll satisfy your crepe cravings without the pretentiousness or the...
