Niko Teriyaki used to be one of my absolute favorite teriyaki joints, especially for my need for spicy. I tried ordering them for delivery awhile back through a courier service. When I received the order, this note was attached to my food. They passive-aggressively told me how I should have ordered from them despite Bitesquad not having a spicy level option and also showing they DID have a kid's size fried rice. I contacted Bitesquad about this so that they may fix the menu options on their end, but it was absolutely NOT okay for Niko to send me this note with their food. All of this was stuff outside of my control as a customer.

Passive-aggressive note aside, the quality of their food has gone down over the past few years. I almost always order a 3-star spicy chicken and usually love it, but the past few times I've gotten this dish, I have been less than satisfied. They soak the chicken in their spicy mixture (more sauce than spice) and the cuts of chicken don't seem to be cleaned as well as they used to (lots of gristle and chewy bits). I'm not sure if this is all due to a change in management or other staff, but it's not the same Niko...

OMG so good! I had to write something cause they’re not the typical teriyaki establishment! Here’s my points Most places give a small boat size rice. But I’m Korean! I love my rice! I saw the little box and thought oh oh. And then opened it to my delight that they actually give a nice amount of rice!! The asian in me was very happy. I asked for extra spicy cause ya know, always weak. This place is - you ask, they give!! My spicy loving friends would loooove this place! I do!! Thanks! Composable main container! Wow! I could just compost it easy after I was done! It’s usually such a hassle cause of the foam or plastic containers that are bulky filling up my trash. Hefty to go bag. Nice reusable bag and very nice thick quality! Thanks! ultimately the teriyaki. 🤤 so good! Actually cooked in sauces. Other places just bulk cook the chicken and the. Place sauce on top. Not this place!! You gotta...

Niko Teriyaki's menu and prices are on the affordable/inexpensive side yet they don't skimp on quality or quantity. Their chicken teriyaki is pretty standard and that isn't a bad thing at all. The chicken teriyaki comes work a small container of additional teriyaki sauce along with a side of salad and it's own small container of ranch dressing. Like many other places, their salad tastes like it came straight out of a premixed packaged salad. The chicken didn't taste burnt at all nor was the rice mushy. The chicken was slightly overcooked (that's standard for teriyaki) but it wasn't dry. The sauce was thicker and stronger/more flavourful and a little saltier than I prefer but that will vary for everyone. Limited parking in front. The parking lot can get crowded on evenings when everyone is doing their grocery shopping.
