Sodo Pizza — Restaurant in Redmond

A perfect 8" pepperoni that was very satisfying.

The crust buttom was firm with light toasting and fluffy on top. The style of pizza is maybe New York but with a firmer non-soggy crust or maybe St Louis with a fluffy slightly chewy top. Maybe I would just call it Sodo at this point. Regardless, it tasted really good with every bite.

The tomato sauce was tangy with hints of sweet basil. The provolone cheese had an ideal melt to it and didn't string out or fight back. The pepperoni tasted like, well, pepperoni and was the right shape to give you slightly crispy edges.

All over it was a well chosen set of ingredients and the oven was tuned for baking them to an excellent result.

The owner and staff are very nice and I see no good reason to get pizza furthur away. I could see someone wanting something wood fired and artisanal, but if you just was a delicious pizza there is no reason to go elsewhere in Redmond.

I noticed the sign to this cute pizza joint this morning when I went to drop my dog off for a procedure. I had no idea they were doing a soft launch today! I ordered myself a small personal sized pizza while I waited to pick up my dog from the vet next door. I must say, this pizza is fantastic!
