This used to be one of the best burger places around. For the price of $14, you get their classic “Tipsy” burger and a ton of fries to go along with it. That was a year ago. Now you are paying $18.5 for the exact same thing. Inflation is real and if you would look at the value of $14 in 2022, that would be the equivalent of $15.04 in 2024 (see attached photo for source). It may be a placebo effect, but the burgers also feel smaller.
Waiters used to ask you how you would like your patty cooked, now it’s just defaulted to what their menu says is medium rare. I wouldn’t mind this because if you didn’t want anything else other than medium well you don’t need to say anything because that is the default. If it wasn’t for the fact when I went, the burgers , came well done…
Service might as well also be non-existent. You tell the waiter you need 1 more minutes to take a look at the menu, and they come 10 minutes later to take your order. Either have customers pick up and make their own order at a counter/kiosk or have a button on each table to notify the waiter that a table needs attention. Both options you get to cut down unnecessary waiting time. First option you get rid of the waiters, second option you optimize the servers time.
The quality of service is decent at best and since the price of all the items on menu have been risen so much, I should be expecting the servers wage to rise the same amount? Paying an increase in 32% over the course of 2 years is mind boggling. On top of the current state of this country’s “tipping culture” of being 15-20%. If they had an option to invest in the price of their burgers, I would tell people to avoid index funds and come dump their money here instead. I struggle to see where immense increase in price is going towards.
While the price is outrageous, the food is usually not cooked to your ideal, and the service is okay at best. I cannot deny, when you’re able to have a medium rare-medium well patty, their burgers are still some of the best in issaquah. So if you have deep pockets and just want the best burger possible(in issaquah), I would still recommend this place.

Read moreWhile I don't dine at Tipsy Cow often, I frequently order takeout from this location. When revisiting my previous review, I noticed I had rated it 4 stars two years ago. Today, I am delighted to elevate my rating to a full 5 stars, particularly highlighting the exceptional customer service that consistently sets this establishment apart.
Two memorable experiences exemplify their commitment to customer satisfaction:
Approximately six months ago, while placing an online takeout order, I mistakenly left the pickup time at the default "ASAP." Realizing my mistake immediately, I called the restaurant, and a team member informed me that the order was already being prepared. Although I understood this was my error, within minutes, the store manager personally called me back to assure me they would accommodate my preferred pickup time. What stood out most was that the first team member I spoke to proactively brought my concern to the manager's attention instead of simply moving on. This proactive follow-up significantly exceeded typical customer service standards.
More recently, I noticed a considerable reduction in portion size during a routine takeout order. After contacting the restaurant, I learned this was an intentional adjustment. Appreciating their transparency, I was content with the explanation. Yet, to my surprise, the manager called me back shortly afterward to acknowledge my concern and informed me they would revert to the previous portion sizes—at least for the takeout orders. Additionally, they offered an unexpected but appreciated discount as a gesture of goodwill.
Such proactive attention to detail and genuine care for customer experience truly distinguishes Tipsy Cow. Their dedication to exceeding expectations, coupled with a clear commitment to thoughtful team-building and service excellence, makes this restaurant a commendable example for others in the industry. I eagerly anticipate many more delightful interactions...
Read moreMy first experience at Tipsy Cow, and it was an incredible one!! Went with a group from work for lunch last Friday 6/14/24. Our server, Sidney, was a badass! She took our entire order by memory, and didn't miss a SINGLE item!! That is extremely rare and I know as I ran restaurants & espresso bars for 2 decades! I hope like hell your managers know what a gem you are. If not, you would be fantastic in property management... message me lol. Girl, you are going places!!🙌 She was hilarious, her positive energy was infectious, and on top of THAT, the food was AMAZING!! Maybe I'm a bit over the top, but the fact that this was my first time, I am in awe and this spot is my new favorite! Their fried pickles were to die for, their Big Eye burger is unique and being a huge ahi tuna fan, I had to try it! SO GOOD. Their milkshakes are 🔥🔥🔥! I got the virgin Bananas Foster (can't go wrong with bananas & caramel!) as I had to go back to work, but you can get it with captain morgans spiced rum. Definitely trying that next visit! My group also got the truffle fries, jacked fries, the winemaker burger on lettuce without the bun (though they do offer gluten-free buns!), a salad with a burger pattie on it (genius!), and the smashburger. Everything was fantastic! I wish I had taken pics! Thank you Sidney (apologies if misspelled!) for such a memorable experience!! Other servers and one of the managers even looked in on us while Sidney was handling her other tables and I love that they work as a team! You honestly do not see that in many restaurants. I really had to train my teams to work as one unit, and it takes patience & consistency on management's part to create such a cohesive team! I salute you! Our compliments to the chef for the amazing food & to the managers for hiring Sidney!! #SorryNotSorry, can't help it, we loved her!🤣 She had...
