Cannot say enough good things about Zoggs. We (my husband, 5 month old and I) were in Rehoboth Beach for an overnight on our drive home from Florida. When we first walked in, it felt like a “local’s only” dive bar, but we were quickly greeted with a warm welcome and told we could sit where we felt most comfortable since we had the car seat with us. There were also two gentleman playing music. We sat in a booth close to where the music was playing. Even the musicians acknowledged us! Preston was our server. He was phenomenal! He was friendly and attentive without being on top of us. He took our drink orders promptly. We both got a crush drink. I didn’t love mine, so I ordered a strawberry margarita instead. He offered to remove the crush from our bill and make me something else. My husband said he would drink it though. 12/10 highly recommend the marg! The flavors were phenomenal. You could taste the tequila, but it wasn’t so strong it overpowered the whole drink or your palate. We ordered half a dozen oysters and they were some of the best I’ve ( we’ve) had in a while. Very well shucked, very flavorful and perfectly briny without feeling like you just drank ocean water after being hit with a big wave. There was hot sauce on the table we both tried on an oyster it was so good we asked Preston if they sold any! They do and he said he’d bring us a bottle at the end of our meal if they had any in stock, but if they didn’t we could order it online! Luckily they had some!! For my meal I got the Fried Grouper Finger appetizer. I was nervous it wasn’t going to be enough for a meal but figured I could always order something else if not. They were gigantic! 3 full pieces of fish! The batter was flavorful and held up to the fish and the Chipotle Mayo was the perfect amount of spice! I was only able to eat about a piece and a half before I got full! My husband ordered the Jerk Grouper Tacos on the signature house fried crispy shell. The flavors were fantastic! The shell was so crispy and not at all greasy! Held up to all the fixins too! Unfortunately we didn’t take photos of the meals themselves. The musicians were so fun! They acknowledged our son throughout our meal, but not in an overbearing way. Asked what kind of music we liked and played music from the bands we mentioned! We could both hear the music AND converse with each other without feeling like we were yelling. We stayed about 20 min longer than we “wanted to” just to hear more and bc they were so interactive with us ( and the baby)! Preston made us feel at home and so welcome throughout our entire meal. My husband and I decided that when we visit Rehoboth in the future…Zogg’s will always be a “must stop!”

First off... portions are beyond generous. Do I regret ordering two appetizers prior to our entrées??.. nope! Everything was delicious. We even had a goody bag to take home. The jerk shrimp and grouper fingers was how we started, along side a lemonade crush and an Appleton Estates mixed drink. The grouper fingers were enough to fill the belly. However, the jerk grouper tacos were already ordered. My oh my!.. the filet of fish in each taco was plentiful, the pickled onion added that crisp tang. The burrito.. enough for three. The large portions do not even put a dent in the flavor that comes with it. It is very tasty food and you will definitely get your moneys worth.. plus more. Our bartender was super friendly and all of our food was served fast. I wish I had more room to eat more. It's a great place that is a must try. Atmosphere is perfect inside and outside, with the firepits it makes for a nice evening. We came back and enjoyed another meal at Zoggs. I had the bacon smash burger, the bacon was thick strips and the sauce was tasty, very good and filling burger. My hubby had the jerk grouper taco which he really enjoyed. Our daughter went with chicken tenders which were crispy and can't go wrong with. Overall, great experience again. Delicious food options and nice atmosphere. Service was great and attentive.

Was enjoying a walk around the boardwalk at Rehoboth beach, walked up one of the side streets to see what restaurants, bars and shops there were to check out. Saw the menu at Zogg's and decided to check them out. This place has a beach shack vibe to the restaurant, which was nice considering it's right by the beach. The staff was friendly and kind and explained the menu well when asking them questions. Ordered the beer battered cod tacos (on special) jerk grouper tacos and the tuna steak and cheese. The cod tacos were great with the mango jalapeno slaw and raspberry sauce, upgraded for a side of Mac and cheese which was ok. The Jerk tacos were very good as well it came topped with romaine lettuce and tomato pickled red onions and a spicy mayo, got it with a side of their old bay chips which had a good amount of old bay spice but where a little soft, was hoping for a crispy chips here. The tuna cheese steak was also great served on a sesame sub roll that was toasted nicely had fresh cooked tuna with avocado, spices, gouda cheese and spicy mayo, had a side of the mango jalapeno slaw it was a light tasting slaw wish it had more mango and jalapeno and vinegar in it. Zogg's overall was a great experience and definitely want to go back and try more of their menu.

I recently dined at the rum shack on 7/26 around 5 oclock for dinner. My family and I were seated in the back bar originally. Once we asked our original server about the happy hour “buck a shuck” he told us it was only available for bar guests. Before we got up to go to the bar, we then asked our server which oyster can we get that wasn’t grainy and still receive the discount. Our original server then told us that all of the oysters were available for the deal. After being told this information, we moved to the rum shack and had Cheyenne as our server/bartender. We ordered 2 full dozens of pink oysters after being told about the deal. After we received the bill, we noticed she charged us full price. She said that it was only applicable to the Chesapeake oysters. No where on the menu mentioned this & we asked the question prior to going to the bar. Once we said something to her, she seemed to understand the situation & proceeded to say “I will take that off for you” and disappeared. Well, when she came back she wasn’t able to charge us the appropriate price for happy hour & said she cursed out our original server and spoke to her manager and they can only charge us for a dozen and a half. Why say something before you spoke to management about resolving the issue and feeding us a false promise? She was gone for 1 minute which was odd considering she talked to management and our other server according to what we were told. I doubt she mentioned anything to anyone because she came back awful fast.We were seriously misled by all staff and will not be recommending this place to anyone who were to visit the area. It’s a shame because the oysters were amazing and some of the best I’ve had. In addition, we watched her drop cups on the floor and put them back on the top of the stack & watched her serve a man a drink with...

👎First impression - terrible. The hostess brought us to a dirty table and had us stand there while they barely wiped the table off with a wet rag and no cleaning fluid. Then after sitting us they swept around our feet. Amateur hour.

👎Service - painfully slow. We were in the restraunt for nearly two hours waiting for our food order and then a very long time for our check.

👎 Parking - very sparse. Good luck trying to find a space at this location. Also you will need to pay for parking just to eat here. Not worth it.

😳Price - $120 for 5 apps and a kids meal was on the high side. Sticker shock, especially after not caring for most of the food.

😕Food was hit or miss and lacked the presentation that we expected based on photos of food at this location.

👎Raw bar - a let down. The online menu shows steamed shrimp as part of their raw bar options. Upon arrival we were told they don’t sell steamed shrimp. HUGE let down.

😒Jerk Chicken Appetizer - Way too large for an app, and lacked presentation and flavor. There was no garnish and no mayo like in the photos. Let down.

😔Coconut Shrimp - You pay $15 for 5 shrimp. Over priced for what you get.

🤢Honey Chicken - Tasted like it was fried, covered in old bay and honey. Not good at all.

👍Dirty Shrimp - Delicious combination of pesto, garlic butter and shrimp. Cutting the tails off and cutting the bread in two, would have made the app better and the portion was a bit small, but overall a solid choice.

😔Mom’s Crab Dip - We ordered this for the tortilla chips. It came with some sort of fried tortilla instead of the...
