ABSOLUTELY DISPLEASED! How odd my sandwich looks nothing like the other reviews! Horrible experience. Went here based on the establishment being in DDD in the past, as I have several times in other cities always to great results. I had a great experience making my order with the cash register gal. I ordered the Gnar breakfast burrito which was $10 and also a BLT with fried egg, on Jalapeño Cheddar bread, I figured I'd eat later. When they called my name I walked up and there was confusion as to why 2 BLTS were sitting there. They literally opened the one, closed, put the other in my bag, said wait one is one Sourdough, handed it off opened again and then handed me the other sandwich they'd reopened and inspected. It was reopened and inspected two times in front of me before being handed off to me. When I opened I was unsure if it was even Jalapeño Cheddar bread, as it certainly wasn't distinguishable and the confusion over Sourdough added to my uncertainty. I poked what may have been the only possible single Jalapeño visible toasted heavily into the bread and sure enough it's the correct sandwich. I opened and was disappointed, as similar to the Gnar burrito I ate, the items were not evenly dispersed across the sandwich as the tomatoe and bacon was all to one side and the other side bare. The burrito was much like this also, as biting in first the meat, then continuing hashbrowns and finally near the end of the frankly small and while good tasting disappointing offering, I hit yoke and the egg. Shouldn't the egg be throughout a breakfast burrito and not only on one side. So as I poked in my sandwich to spread evenly the bacon and portion of tomato I honestly was so put off by the way the sandwich was put together I went up and asked for my refund and that in itself became rather interesting. The manager or maybe and hopefully not owner, seemed to think because he has a 4.5 rating that I should be happy with the sandwich as is and when I pointed out the bread and the poor way it was put together he said "that's it", I pointed out the photos from his other reviews with the same bread and how mine was nothing like that and I stated I would never put out food like that and he said "are you a chef", to which I replied only at home. Remarkable the audacity having been called out for a poor customer experience by this business. "Mistakes happen are you perfect", because he didn't like the attitude I was giving he said. Is a chef really necessary to construct sandwiches or just someone with a eye for detail and a food handlers permit, as we were never talking food quality but the ingredients being assembled frankly. Hopefully if you decide to patronage this establishment you get a much better experience than living off their past success and the horrible experience I had. He refunded my $19.47 , I said you only need refund the BLT since I ate the burrito, he said no we're refunding it all to make it right. When he handed me the $19.47 I turned it over took out the $10 and left the $9.47 on the counter. Nobody wants something for free, but we sure the heck want what we paid for to be presentable as expected without your attitude...
Read moreI can't speak to the quality of the food, it certainly looks good. I have had to place orders here a few times for events at work that I am not included in (which is why I don't know about the food quality). The previous couple of orders went ok, with a few hiccups that have been resolved. I usually order via email but I didn't have adequate notice to do that this time, so I called in. First, I might say if your business accepts company PO's for payment, you might want to train those taking calls what a PO is. Second, as a representative of a business placing an order being asked to provide a personal card number to "guarantee" the order is borderline unprofessional and was somewhat concerning to me as I do not have the funds to cover company placed orders. Third, upon coming to pick up the order (and while I might make concessions being it was semi-close to closing time) having paperwork shoved back at you saying "you don't need this" after being told repeatedly over the phone that you did, well... I have no words. The order wasn't completed at the pick-up time which is whatever, but the sandwich maker in the back was diverted a bit talking and laughing with the other man in the back and with the cashier who was singing along with the music (that was subsequently ramped up in volume) with the microphone I will assume is used to relay orders to the back of the house. Perhaps it's this location or just the business overall that resents orders of this nature, my company, or me personally but I felt like my order and presence was inconvenient. I personally would never patronize this business on my own, however my associates seem to love your food and happen to request it a lot, therefore I am resigned to continue to order here. Just an FYI for...
Read moreOur first time here, and I wasn't sure what to expect. We were on the hunt for a breakfast burrito near the hotel. For some reason, we had a hard time finding this place. Our maps literally had us drive around the whole building. 🤦♀️. The things you do for food. When I walked in, it was a well decorated place. It seemed as if some of the workers were busy prepping for the lunch rush, and others were knocking out phone orders. The place had a lot of seating areas and was pretty clean. They seemed to have a lot more items that I didn't see online. I ordered:
Biscuits and gravy burrito - I halfed this with my husband, and it was enough to knock you out. It was a warmy comforting goodness that you could not stop eating on a cold morning. After eating this, I was ready to take a nap.
Sausage and bacon breakfast burrito - This wasn't much compared to the biscuits and gravy burrito. It wasn't as meaty as I anticipated, but it was good. It was definitely spicier than I expected.
Service was great all around and fast. I can't wait to come back and try their sandwiches.. and more...
