This place has sooo much potential but misses the mark across too many easy points.
Wins- location, ambience, music style, fun menu, good beer
Improvements needed:
The service. We cannot hear them over the music. We watched 2 tables go unattended for over 10 min. We had to ask for water refills. But mostly it is little things like circling back after food arrives to ensure all is good, what the split check came we (1 couple) were engaging and he gave us the ticket and then left the other parties ticket at the other end of table next to the 12 yro and didn’t ensure they saw nor were given the ticket directly. It shows apathy, disregard, and selfish action for the 3 steps to provide service.
drink and food service. The person bringing food and drink- mostly drink, gave drinks to the wrong table twice that we saw and didn’t ensure accuracy. Open drinks left on wrong tables were then brought to correct tables, but no confirmation that they hadn’t bee touched or drank.
Food: does not live up to the care and cultivation of the menu. Tritip cut too thin, Caesar dress too light(closer to Caesar vinaigrette), dried cheese curds were mostly empty—likely not flash fried and the cheese melted into the frier, I can keep going.
Seems like small issues — easy fixes: -Buy some trays. 2 people shouldn’t be needed for 5 beers. -don’t bring silverware and napkins after three rotations of bringing food for 5 people. And if 5 people ensure 5 sets of napkins and silverware— he brought 4 and we had to ask for it in the first place. -place check in front of primary party -…
I’ll end here.
I hope y’all can fix the basics and rock it. The beer is too good for these...
Read moreThis is very unfortunate, I visit parlay6 for the first time because I saw it on social media that they were open and want to try. I was very pleased and loved the experience because the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Then I came back the 2nd time again, I'm very satisfied because the bar tender at night made me the best margarita ever! I had a blast. Then today I came back I ordered chicken wings next door knowing it was OK to bring outside food because that was I've been told a couple times before. Then this wait staff approached me and asked me what do I want to order I told her that I ordered something next door and I just want to order drinks, and she was very demeaning and told me the bar don't do that. Then she asked a bartender and the bartender told her I can do it but I had to sit at the patio which is fine, then I sat at the patio and she BTW her name is "Britney" approached me and asked me with a very demeaning tone what do i want? I asked her what was the difference between sitting at the patio and sitting inside the bar? And she quickly responded with again very demeaning tone, I will not argue with you about this matter because this is what I've been told! Then I said I didn't wanna argue with you either I just want to know what's the difference? And I asked for her name and she just ignored me and went to the next table beside me like I wasn't there. How does a person like her ( Brithey) can ruined every effort that previous staff did to gain my business? Idk, probably she's in the wrong business of customer service. But 9ne thing is for sure, I will never ever...

We visited Parlay6 with multiple families during a large baseball tournament. Despite the heat, we were looking forward to a relaxing meal. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Mike, one of the bartenders. However, a female manager soon approached us with hostility, upset that we hadn't called ahead. Despite explaining our situation as out-of-towners, she continued to make us feel unwelcome with snide comments.
We requested a large table in the back to keep the boys corralled, but initially, it wasn't available. Later, they set it up for us, yet the manager's attitude remained unwelcoming. When we tried to split our group, she created a scene, forcing us to stay together.
Given our positive experiences at other local establishments, this was shocking. Despite the staff's apologetic response, we decided to leave. Mike and the rest of the team were amazing, but the manager's behavior ensures we won't be returning.
If you're a large group visiting Reno, you might want to reconsider...
