We saw this spot on Google maps and wanted to try it as it was different from the large amounts of pizza and pasta in the area. Its a Vegan restaurant despite everything having the names of meats, there are signs to clarify and the staff also made sure that we knew that everything was vegan. I'm not vegan, but I like to try meat alternatives as my stomach sometimes is too sensitive to eating meat. I really enjoyed the mango habanero wings, it honestly felt very close to chicken wings, but less stringy. I honestly wish there were like 2 or 3 more in the box because they were really good and I felt that the container was mostly just fries, which werre good but I wanted wings more than I wanted fries. The asada fries were not bad. But they weren't anything exciting to write home about. They reheat very well as we also finished the rest of it the next day. I would definitely come back here and try other things as well, the portion sizes for the most part are good for what we ordered but the wings should probably come with a few more for that dish to be worth it.

The Fix is a neat little restaurant in the West Street Foodcourt that serves 100 percent vegan food. The food itself is fantastic and worth a visit. I had the Firecracker sandwich, which was the perfect amount of spice and was covered in a really tasty aioli. I also ordered their side of nachos, which were some of the best vegan nachos I’ve ever had. The only issue was that they ran out of a lot of their food at 6:30 (including things like fries, wraps, etc) and one of the cashiers didn’t note a dietary restriction while taking my friend’s order, and the order couldn’t be remade because the ingredients to make the dish were sold out.

The Fix is a vegan restaurant inside the West Street Market, next to The Pizza Collective. Don’t let the names of the orders fool you, this restaurant is 100% vegan! (You wouldn’t be able to taste much of a difference actually!) I ordered the “carne” asada tacos (3 tacos) and the hand cut fries. You definitely get your money’s worth and the fries are enough for two. They also have shareable orders of fries and nachos, wraps, sandwiches, and “wings.” You can dine in or take out. It is wheelchair accessible and kid friendly.

We found this place through Google Maps while craving shawarmas last week. Though high ratings can be misleading when a place's name and menu don't look authentic, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. The employee was short and rude, and we noticed the tiny kitchen had no traditional shawarma equipment. Despite having only one customer eating in the common area, we waited 20 minutes for our order. The shawarmas bore no resemblance to authentic ones. The cold 'beef' seemed more like liver or some frozen, pan-seared meat, and the chicken was equally cold and unappetizing. They overseasoned everything with so many spices that it was impossible to identify what we were actually eating. While the fries were served warm, they had an unpleasant smell from overused oil. I will not go back there because I am unable to forget this...

To the The Fix family,

I just want to take a moment to tell you how proud I am of you and everything you’ve built. I’ve been a fan since the early days—when you were serving up your incredible vegan wings at Food Truck Fridays and popping up wherever you could. I still remember being pregnant 9 years ago and craving those wings, hoping you wouldn’t sell out before I got there!

To see how far you’ve come—from those humble beginnings to the beautiful, thriving permanent space you have now—is genuinely inspiring. Your food has always been amazing, but it’s your passion, dedication, and heart that have made such a lasting impact on me and so many others.

It’s been such a joy to watch your journey and get to know you personally. You’ve created something special, and I hope you take time to feel just as proud of yourselves as your community feels of you.

With love and endless...
