El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Rialto

The employees just need to maintain the eating area clean, tables have soda or salsa stains and dry pieces of food. Specially since covid is hitting hard again plus no one likes to eat on a dirty table with dry food that contains germs already then we transfer it to our food. Other then that, workers are friendly and help you all the way, food is well done, not cold or not done cook, chicken restaurants always have that problem with not done chicken, hard chicken, slimy chicken, greasy chicken, bloody chicken on bones and over cook chicken. This Pollo loco cooks and personal are quality and delicious but honestly is better to go cause no one is cleaning tables often. Your appetite gets a little lost thinking if this is here where we can see, how is it where we can't? I know they clean too and all do as the health department requirements but this one is one that needs attention. I know some customers just walk in on their lunch and see them get up and leave. Wiping their hands or asking for table to be clean. There is another Pollo loco on Huntington Park California that we went since I was a kid till college years. Reason same delicious recipes and friendly but this one, as customers stand up from tables they go and spray it clean it with the wet and a dry after. I give that one a 101% and this location a 98% but I think it also depends on a appearance when you walk in, not a letter by health department that goes once a year. We go 3 to 4 times a week. I live across the street from this location and I come here more times that I care to remember, however, I've always have done drive thru. Today the line was insane so I decided to go order inside and to my surprise the attendant with an attitude told me she couldn't take my order that they have two monitors there to order... I'm savy and very well manage technology but I couldn't customize my order the way I like it. So after playing with the screen for a few minutes I decided I was in the wrong place and took myself to the next door fast food joint were I was greeted with joy. Next time I crave Pollo Loco I most likely will drive to the location in Fontana and may never stop here again. I know Pollo Loco will not go out of business for losing a customer but I would highly recommend the store manager to reconsider how you train your employees to greet your customers and make efforts to help regardless if you have...

I will never go back to this place again! I had a coupon which clearly they could not scan, not my issue. The drive thru lady refused to validate and the manager turned a deaf ear and could not provide me with a clear answer. I drove off without having to waste any more time hearing their shenanigans. I'll stick with Pollo Dorado which is way better tasting and not that expensive. This is a new Pollo Loco and it is being ran by inexperienced employees. Its a known fact that customer service classes are offered. Where the necessary tools could be obtained to be able to successfully run a fast food franchise with a name like this one.
