It’s a sad day. I have been eating at Miguel’s for around 40 years. Since back when there were only two locations.

Anyway, I went to the North Rialto location today Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at around 4;45 PM and was really disappointed. It has been a while since I have been to this location and man has it gone down hill.

When we entered I noticed it was hot inside. There was a loud screeching sound coming from the ice machine and the restroom was out of order. Also, there was only one employee working both the walk up counter and the drive-thru window.

The food, oh the food. I have never had bad food at Miguel’s Jr, never. That was until today. I ordered taquitos and two shredded beef tacos. The taquitos were thrown together and there was only enough guacamole for one even though an order is three. Both tacos had the bottoms blown out and the meet fell out onto my taquitos tray. In all of my years eating there this has never happened before. I have gotten this same order most of the time I eat there. One other thing is you can no longer get your salsa yourself even though there is a giant sign showing it (see photo) and the only way to get a napkin is to go to the counter and ask (my wife and I got two each).

The reason I’m doing this review is I hope the owners of Miguel’s Jr see it. The employees at this location don’t seem to care too much about your business. They don’t care about the food quality, the dinning atmosphere, and if the restaurant is even nice to go to. When this location opened I was there. I talked to your mom. I told her about eating at the Fontana location by Fohi. She was proud of what Miguel’s Jr had become. I promise she would be disappointed in how this location is being operated now. She would be disappointed in the quality of the food.

Miguel’s Jr, you can do much better. You have for years. ...

I went into the Rialto location a couple of weeks ago. I ordered the shredded chicken enchilada and a side of rice. Didn't realize that I was given a Carne asada enchilada until I was going to eat it a couple of days later. I called the restaurant and spoke with the Manager on duty, William. I explained that part of my order was incorrect and that I would return it, hoping I could get what I paid for. He was extremely RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL and interrupted me before I finished. He put me on hold and when he returned, told me very nastily I would need to return what I was given so he could "see" it. If he hadn't been so RUDE, and dismissive in the beginning, he would have heard me tell him I would return the entree. I did return the entree and was given what I had actually ordered the first time, an inconvenience for me. William did apologize for the way he spoke to me earlier, explaining that he was " working alone and very busy". While I appreciated his apology, this explanation was merely an EXCUSE for being UNPROFESSIONAL. There is NEVER reason for being RUDE to your customers. If you can't handle the stress of being a manager, perhaps you should consider another position. I called the Corporate office twice to discuss this experience and never received a return call. Clearly Miguel's Jr. doesn't need my business and I will NEVER return nor will I recommend them to anyone. I believe you can and should do BETTER with your managerial staff. This experience was very disappointing....

I want to lodge a complaint against this particular location. We placed a large order this evening which included a shredded beef burrito and an order of 3 beef taquitos. The cashier admitted that she somehow missed adding “no cheese” to the order. So she offered to replace the burrito with a 30% discount. Excuse me? She admitted fault and apologized, but somehow I’m expected to PAY EXTRA to fix her mistake??? This incentivizes restaurants to keep making “mistakes” so they can make upsells! I did pay and when I got the burrito it was mostly beans with very little beef, so I got RIPPED OFF A 2ND TIME! Later, we found that the beef taquitos we ordered were actually made with chicken, so we were RIPPED OFF A 3RD TIME! We also asked for 5 red sauces and 5 green sauces and we got 3 red sauces and 2 green sauces. And lastly, WHY are the restrooms blocked off with trash bins and yellow tape? We can’t even go to the toilet here! I am absolutely DISGUSTED by the terrible customer...

I am literally writing this as I am still in the driveway waiting for my two burritos. I was the only person in line at this establishment and I’m still waiting at the front of the line for two burritos be made. They have a sign that say “wait times are higher due to short staff please be patient with us“. But when I look inside the window I see nothing but four staff members literally laughing and hanging out in my burritos are still not being prepared. How long does it really take to make two burritos when there are no other individuals in line. I love Miguel‘s Jr, But I am far from impressed with this establishment. This has happened multiple times and I’m sick and tired of it. I live in Rancho Cucamonga so it is the closest one, now I’m gonna have to head over to the Corona location and I bet it would be a faster visit

The menu has changed but I was still able to order my Chile Rellano and cheese enchilada combo as usual. Unfortunately it was an enchilada in name only. An uncooked and undipped corn tortilla wrapped around unmelted cheese and the onions I asked for. I couldn't cut this with a knife and fork. Likewise the Rellano was too tough to cut and I tore off small bits to eat it. It came to me table heavily sauced and swimming in beans and rice. Accompanied by a plethora of unwanted sauces just to waste food, I guess, because none were ordered and by dining in we could have used the sauce bar. This is not the best MJ location.
