I have to give you one star, because of customer service. I came to your store to buy two laundry bag you had on sale. But when I asked for help to find this item. two of your sale person told me to stay put. They will bring the bags to me. Then one of the sale rep came back to me to tell me that The other sale person bought the two bags. And they did not have any left . The sale rep. That brought the bags came to tell me I could go to Eden prairie to buy these same bags. Who would drive over 20 mi for something that was only going to cost me $5. And then she laughed knowing she bought the items that I came in the store for. I attached two images to this complaint because I took a screenshot of the item and the SKU number before I came to your store. And I checked your website before I left the store . I wrote this complaint in your parking lot. Your staff should do better .

Be wary of getting machines from their rental department (and if you do, definitely get the damage protection). After lugging a deck sander home and putting the first sanding pad on, it immediately fell apart, was barely useable. If we were sanding experts we may have noticed the poor quality of equipment, but we assumed the department would check and not rent back out poor materials. We ended up returning after an hour and sanding by hand. Without damage protection they would have charged us for the cost of the entire sander. Will not be returning.

I have a Husky socket set that i bought at home depot. I bought it because it came with a lifetime warranty and was 6 point sockets. I found out, after rounding off a bolt head, that the 13mm socket in the set was mis labeled and is actually a 14mm. I went to home depot to get it replaced, and they dont have it, cant order it, and the set isnt in the system any more, so i cant return it. Nice LIFETIME WARRANTY!

As seems to be the case with similar warehouse-esque stores, I had a multitude of experiences that pushed me across a spectrum of emotion during my most recent visit to The Home Depot of Richfield, Minnesota. I'll start my story conveniently where I started my journey: on the unfortunate-customer-interaction side of said spectrum. As I walked into this particular store, I needed to know where I could pay for an order that was made via phone (by another individual) and that was intended to be delivered. Finding the nearest person wrapped in an orange apron, I prompted the man and began to make my request. Being the (clearly) overgenerous soul he is, he acknowledged my indigent existence by preparing to continue walking past me mid-speech. Well, using what little linguistic flexibility I have, I paused mid-speech to savor the moment and enjoy the now near-necessity of him needing to stop and turn to face me (with disgust! For shame, trifling and needy customer, for SHAME!). Completing my request in its entirety, I was unceremoniously nudged in the direction of the "Service Desk" as if I clearly should've known this was the spot I was meant to be since the day I climbed out of the womb and entered this place (the world, but more specifically this The Home Depot). A word of warning for fellow retail-store-question-askers: Should you ever find yourself at this The Home Depot with a question burning in your pocket, refrain from asking the man doing (important) laps around the facility, as he is likely timing himself as a form of speed improvement, and he does not have extra time for your customer-centric and erroneous questioning. In summary: This employee most certainly receives 1 out of 5 stars. Now reader, as you may note and wonder, I have designated this The Home Depot with an above average and certainly acceptable 4 out of 5 stars. Where, you might ask, exists the disparity in my star-giving? Allow me to remediate: My experience at the aforementioned Service Deck was far superior to the encounter out on the cold, lonely track I had previously interloped upon. As I went through the process of explaining my mouthful payment request, the woman behind the desk was cheerful and genuinely responsive to my needs. It was a difficult process, evidently, to complete the order as it had gone through the corporate rungs (and had been approved by management for free shipping due to it being for a nonprofit event) to find its way into our discussion at this Service Desk, but this specific worker was diligent in her efforts and successfully helped me in securing the purchase and delivery. This latter experience proves one cannot justly rate an organization based on a single interaction, be it overly positive or negative. Thus, even with the terrible initial contact with the track star near Aisle 5, I will gladly rate this The Home Depot a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Finally, Reader, please use this as fodder for your customer experience needs, and begin to form your own opinions with this company as your own interactions transpire. I suppose, if there’s one concept we can all - and perhaps more importantly, should all - take away from this discussion, it’s that the world would be a better place if it were filled with more Service Desk Ladies, and our collective inner Aisle 5 Guys should be further subdued whilst interacting with the few others on this journey with us through this world (and this The Home Depot)...

My recommendation is to NEVER purchase appliances from Home Depot. I purchased 4 big-ticket appliances, totaling almost $4000 on 9/8/2025. I still have not received the delivery. The delivery has been rescheduled more than 5 times, with multiple times where I have received a phone call and text message the day before with a delivery window only to have no delivery happen. It happened to me, AGAIN, TODAY! And I was told they cannot make any accommodation to deliver the appliances today even though I received a call from them, a text message, and an email yesterday, saying the delivery would happen today. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had with this company. The only thing they ever offer to do to correct it is to reschedule the delivery. And, then at the next delivery date, the same thing happens. I will never ever purchase appliances with Home Depot ever again and I am definitely going to find other hardware stores to take my business. I'm sure they won't miss my dollars, but that does not seem to matter to anyone at Home Depot anyways. Editing because I was told by the customer service agent today that I would get a call from the warehouse about rescheduling my delivery. I did NOT receive a call, I did receive a text and email saying my delivery was rescheduled for Monday. This means exactly NOTHING at this time because I have no assurance or guarantee that the delivery will actually happen because NOBODY called me. And they want to make up for it by offering me a $50 gift card AFTER the delivery. Guess what, I already have one of those from back in September when the deliveries scheduled at that time didn't happen and were rescheduled. I am not going to redeem them because I am not going to shop at Home Depot ever again. Edit: While I do appreciate the response, I am not going to click on this link and fill out this request form. I have talked with many Home Depot customer service representatives, particularly over the past 3 weeks to try and get this resolved, and now you want me to fill out a form to get some help...??! The customer service agents should be empowered to resolve this for me or escalate it themselves. I will share I did receive a partial delivery of my appliance order yesterday.... However, I am still waiting on delivery of one additional appliance and have had no contact about when that will happen. Update: Still do not have the refrigerator. I had to call Home Depot yesterday because they are not communicating with me. I got the same run around. I filed a report on the BBB website and guess what.... I got a phone call a few hours later from someone in their corporate office who is supposedly going to help me. We'll see... I paid for this refrigerator on 9/8/2025 and 2 months later, Home Depot has my money and I don't have my...

Today I went to the Home Depot store, trying to find things again that I need, I asked a store employee if he could help me locate some paper bags, which I needed, for my organic waste. The person, at first he started speaking well to me, and then, he started talking to me, a little weird, he started asking me where I was from, and then very kindly, I told him that I'm Mexican and he told me that he was from a country near Brazil. He said that his country had a lot of oilsnd things like that, then he asked me if I was going to Mexico and I told him yes, but when he asked me that question, I started to didn't feel comfortable, he also asked me what he thought of President Donald Trump, he asked me specifically how many times I went to Mexico and I told him that I did not know, and then, he started to ask me if it took a long time in Mexico, I told him that one to two weeks, then another employee, who was in front, stared at him, did not like what he was doing with me, then an employee passed by and also stared at him as if thinking that what he was asking me was not right, but he kept asking and then I showed him some Photographs from when I went to Mexico, then he just stopped asking me and told me to have a good day. It is not normal that the employees of Home Depot themselves are asking me those kinds of questions, they get a little weird, I could have been rude and told him that he did not care or because I had to answer those questions, but I do have education. I think, you will understand that it is not normal for them to ask those kinds of questions, I would like to receive any kind of personal questions or related questions next time I go there to Home Depot, not to receive any kind of personal questions or related questions. Home Depot needs to train their staff to be focus on providing good customer service. I have spent too much money on Home Depot this week, and it is the first time it has happened to me, that I would not like it to happen again with me or with anyone else, because there are also friends of mine, which I have recommended, and I would not feel comfortable with those kinds of questions, otherwise I would have to tell my friends not to visit that Home Depot, for a certain type of workers they have there, although there are others who are very attentive and provide very good service and I have gone because I have always liked customer service and they has always helped me wonderfully, but this time, it was the...
