Toma Mojo Grill — Restaurant in Richfield

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! My mom & I had never been so we didn’t know what to expect BUT the staff member who took our order was kind, had a smile on his face and was very patient with everyone who ordered. (We came in on a Friday during the dinner rush) I immediately had to get the White Sangria (iykyk) and it was so refreshing, I can’t wait to enjoy it on their patio in the summer. I got a single cheeseburger & my mom got the La Mancha Salad, we split some Brussel Sprouts and we couldn’t have been happier with our choices. The burger was juicy, the seasoning was perfect and all the flavors combined were great. The Brussels were cooked to perfection, crispy yet soft enough to still chew & not mushy at all. My mom’s salad was delicious & they gave a solid portion of protein which we both appreciate. I TRULY hope this place succeeds & even expands into a larger facility because the food options are simple yet unique and we both agreed that we will be back! Thanks again to all the staff! The crispy chicken tenders plate is a good choice if you’re not sure what to get. The spicy peri sauce was a good side sauce choice. I got mac & cheese as a side, and after adding some pepper, it was unexpectedly good. I’m oddly picky on what mac & cheese I think is actually good, and this place’s mac hit the mark. Chicken was good. I deducted a star because a chicken tender I had, had a bone in it. Meat was good on the chicken however and chicken wasn’t dry.

I didn’t like the tomato garlic bread. I like tomatoes in sauces, but by themselves I’m not a huge fan of. The tomato on top feels like eating a raw tomato for the most part, so it isn’t for me. If you really enjoy the texture of tomatoes, you will like the tomato...

So depressing - I used to love this place! Their Brussels sprouts were and still are great! Unfortunately they no longer offer bone-in chicken. I tried the grilled tenders and was told they still should have the same flavor profile since they had the same marinade as the bone-in. I was optimistic but they were SO DRY! I was so bummed! The tenders by themselves were pretty much flavorless. They were dry enough that adding the sauce basically felt akin to dipping crackers in mayo. Just not a great combination. The employee at the counter tried to convince me that this was a “me” problem staring “that’s so strange, I’ve never heard that before” 😬 so yeah. Not a great experience for $17
