Aub's Lounge is my next virtual work location 👌🏽 The space has a variety of different seating options so you can feel free to find the spot that feels right for you and your body. I've seen other coffee shops feel "sterile", like it's too consistent, too corporate, and too stuffy. Aub's Lounge is a reclamation of what a true lounge space should be. It's artistic, FULL of personality, and you can FEEL and SEE the love that went into making this space.
The banana bread is TOP NOTCH!! 🔥 Caution: banana bread may cause an addition to this sugary sweet 🔥 There are so many flavors too, so I'm sure you'll find something. There isn't a gluten free option available YET, but I think it's coming 👀
The owners, Aubrieann and Janiece, are personable, professional, and entirely welcoming. You'll feel great supporting local business women who have followed their passions and made this little slice of heaven in Richland.
Lastly, the open mic/poetry is life-giving 💕 The stage is small, can be a bit difficult to get onto and you have to find your balance, but they can also bring the mic out so you don't have to step onto the stage if you don't feel comfortable. Other than that, it's an open stage to express yourself and try out public speaking in a judgement free zone. That's powerful!
10/10 I highly recommend checking...

My fiancé and I had been following Aub’s Lounge on Instagram for a while now, and were excited to finally get the chance to check it out! We stopped by here because we saw that they were hosting Trivia Night & we were craving soup/banana bread. All I can say is…YUM. 😋
I got the curry and it was literally some of the best curry that I have ever had. There was not a single drop left in my bowl, by the time I was done with it. I screenshotted a photo from their Instagram to attach to this review, because I forgot to take a photo of it, before I started eating it. 😛 Absolutely delicious.
My fiancé got the blueberry lemon banana bread and the zuppa toscana soup! He LOVED it. Oh, we also got to listen to some killer spoken poetry in between trivia rounds. Heartfelt, raw, & real.
I love how the entire inside is decorated-moody, dark-colored walls, warm Edison lightbulb string lights, & gorgeous art on the walls. I took a photo for reference. Super cozy. 🤍
Can’t wait to go back for poetry night. Also, “penciling” this place in as a great future study spot.
Thanks for the awesome experience & yummy food! We had a...
Read moreI've been buying Aub's Banana bread for about six months and it's excellent. My wife loves the fact I can get it without nuts.
Today, I tried their Piña Colada loaf, and it was very enjoyable. Upon initial inspection, I could see the coconut, but the taste was not overpowered by any one flavor.
With a gentle transition from the sweetness of pineapple and the coarse texture of the coconut to the luscious sweetness of the underlying banana bread, my mouth took my mind for a ride through a "Flavortown" called Richland. Very nice.
The prices are reasonable. I get a larger loaf of banana bread for ten dollars and the mini loaves are about half that.
I had arrived in anticipation of the poetry night but the poet had her wisdom teeth removed today so she, quite rightly, stayed in bed. Perhaps next week.
Their coffee is really good and, because it's in a large percolator, it's $5 for all you can consume. As I like coffee with my cream and sugar, the fit was perfect for me.
I highly recommend Aub's Lounge. It's a non-alcoholic lounge but not a sober lounge. It's great for kids and...
