ETA: I changed my review from 5 stars to 4 stars, because quite frankly, the employees’ attitudes leave something to be desired. I don’t need you to be my best friend but the transparent annoyance when asking for samples (when the place is empty) and just general curtness leaves a bad taste in my mouth. A bummer when the ice cream is so good. So we’ve been 4 times now since they opened. Very cute establishment with some fun flavors of ice cream. The texture of the ice cream itself is thick and creamy, which lends itself well to the other bakery items from Whisk they include. I have tried the Tahini and Halva (this one is special), Rhubarb Crisp (solid but I wanted more rhubarb), Croissants and Jam (love how tart the jam is), Lemon Swirl frozen yogurt (yay lemon!), Brown Sugar Cookie Dough (solid), Roasted Strawberry (perfect balance of flavor), and Salty Peanut Butter (which struck all my tastebuds in just the right way the other night). Candy Bar and Confetti are a bit too sweet for my personal tastes. The profiterole sundae is beautiful and decadent. The flight includes 3 mini scoops with 3 cookie wedges and I have to say the peanut butter cookie’s taste and texture made it one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. Oh and the mini macaron is both adorable and not boring flavor-wise! It was nice and crispy and yummy! Very small space and pretty crowded at times, so be prepared to wait upwards of 20 minutes due to sheer volume of customers. The line was out the door last time we went!

I should tell you that this isn't necessarily better than the other best ice cream in town (rhymes with Shmalati Balesti) because it is different, and who has the best ice cream will depend on your own personal taste. Scoop serves Philadelphia style ice cream that has a lower egg yolk content compared to the gelato-like ice cream of the other guys. Think Breyers vs. Haagen-Dazs. But so, so much better than Breyers. That being said. I went to Scoop on the day they officially opened and had what is now my favorite ice cream of all time. Mint cookies and cream. Perfect mint ice cream with chunks of Oreo cookies instead of crappy waxy chocolate squares that you normally find in mint ice cream. Good Lord. My life will be forever changed. Just like it's sibling establishment, Whisk, the stuff is great, space is clean, service is quick. Get a scoop in a waffle cone and won't regret it.

Great ice cream!! They keep a rotating 20 flavors. They do have about 3-4 vegan options available always. My fav is oatmeal cookie ice cream! They also offer an ice cream flight with 3 different flavors and can turn any ice cream into a milkshake!!! They do homemade their waffle cones. Single scoop starts at $4.50. Entire flight of 3 scoops is less than $10! They offer pints of packed ice cream to go too. Store is cute and small with a very small outdoor seating area which I love. Busiest time on a nice day are 2-8. Only complaint- there are only 4 people, or one party of people, allowed in the store at once… so there’s sometimes a line building outdoors. :( At least they have the flavors posted outside though so you can know what you want before you walk in!

I ordered through Doordash looking for something sweet, and Scoop showed up. Pricing: At first I thought the prices were a bit of a reach, being that Ben & Jerry's is typically $7 per pint, and a pint from Scoop is $10, but as we all grow up learning "don't judge a book by it's cover", I thought I should give it a go before I made up my mind on it. Ice Cream: I ordered a pint of Roasted Strawberry and a pint of Blood Orange Creamsicle. Both flavors are ridiculously smooth, sweet, and creamy, but (and thank God) not overbearing. Overall: I've had many different types and brands of ice cream, but this ice cream by Scoop is by far the best I've ever had. There is so much flavor, it's impossible not to slowly savor every moment of it. The Roasted Strawberry flavor reminds me of memories of hanging out with my friends and family at the lake in the summer, and the Blood Orange Creamsicle reminds me of simpler times when being a kid didn't come with the responsibilities of an adult. All in all, this ice cream can make memories, and remind you of memories long past when you were a kid.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Hands down the best ice cream ever. Kudos to you Scoop!

Oh, and for those concerned, Scoop blows Ben & Jerry's out of the...

Scoop is an absolute must-visit! We swung by at around 9:30, and let me tell you—the place was POPPIN! There was a slight wait (we only had to wait about 10 minutes) since the line stretched down the block and they only allow 8 people in at a time, but they get through the line super fast and the staff is incredibly sweet and attentive!

I decided to treat myself to a double featuring their brown sugar cookie dough and sea salt chocolate malt. Both were delicious, but the sea salt chocolate malt stole the show for me—the sea salt really brought out the flavor in such a unique way. It turns out the cookie dough is their most popular flavor, yet I found myself totally smitten with the chocolate malt!

My husband opted for a double with coffee and tiramisu, and he agreed that both were excellent. Beyond these amazing flavors, Scoop offers a ton of cool options including coffee and other drink choices, shakes, and even ice cream sandwiches. Plus, they have punch cards, so if you’re an ice cream fan, definitely grab one!

We’re already planning our next visit to try more of their inventive flavors and treats. Scoop definitely knows how to serve up a fun, flavorful...
