When my friends and I decided to dine out, we hoped for a pleasant evening, but what we received was far beyond just a meal. I typically don’t leave reviews, but I had to. I worked at a different Applebee’s in the past, so I understand food service a little. My family and I came a little while ago for a small family event, and we had pretty bad service. There were 4 of us dining. I can’t remember our server’s name, but it was along the lines of Janelle or Jannette. She was an older woman, maybe in her 50’s-60’s? We ordered the new beer pub waffle fries, as well as a few other appetizers with our meals. The fries never arrived, even after our main meals came, and when I mentioned it to her she very rudely said at first “you never ordered that”, then upon checking her tickets, still rudely said “do you just want me to take them off your ticket then?” Never offered to see what happened with the order, didn’t apologize, and assumed we didn’t want them, even though we were excited to try them. And quite honestly I’m offended she tried to blame the mistake on us. Because of her rudeness we told her to just take it off the ticket. She barely checked on us, and when we first arrived never even told us about the specials. When she did speak to us, it was very short, blunt, rude answers, and she seemed pretty annoyed for no reason when we gave our orders. She also rarely filled our drinks, and this was after the dinner rush when very few tables were occupied. At the end of our meal, it took a while for us to get our ticket to pay, and when we were ready to leave we had to wait for her longer. The food was okay, but when we were finished eating and she came back, she tried to take our plates right away, and we had to ask for boxes as she was grabbing them without her even first asking if we wanted them. By far the worst experience we’ve had with a server. She just did not seem to care, and I understand things can be hard in a restaurant, but there’s no reason to behave like that to customers. Our orders weren’t even complicated or different from the menu at all, she was rude from the beginning, and we all were polite, even when she was rude to us. We may go back to this location in the future, probably not soon now though, but if I do I will be making sure to request a different server if she’s still...

Went for a surprise dinner date with my husband tonight. We come often, but I still love the place. All the staff we met were great! Cassandra (I think that was her name. I decided to make my review later in the day🫣) was our waitress and she was STUPENDOUS 🙌 She was so kind and friendly. Very easy to talk to. She treats you like family and I loved it. She checked in often and made sure that everything was alright. We had lots of laughs and conversations through our visit.

Our food was wonderful (as always.) My husband got a classic burger with onion ring (not pictured), I got a 6oz. steak with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli, we both got lemonades (passion fruit for mine and watermelon for his), the cheese curds, then the triple chocolate meltdown (not pictured as we ordered this to go.)

My husband said his food was amazing with no complaints. Even his onion rings were fresh out of the frier and hot.

My steak was ordered rare. I personally think it was undercooked, but the flavor was amazing. Yes I know rare is not cooked for long, but I've had many rare steaks, but this one was a lot more of a dark red/purple color than normal. Again though, flavor was amazing and it wasn't cold when served to me. I tend to get Medium Rare and don't ever have this issue when I do. My potatoes were cooked wonderfully and broccoli steamed a little more than my liking but still very good with no complaints.

Our dessert from home was wonderful. Lasted well in our freezer for a few hours and still had a very nice rich chocolate flavor. The vanilla ice cream was subtle enough that it paired well with the chocolate.

Overall. I highly recommend Applebee's to eat and enjoy a nice dinner. It's amazing for a family trip, or even as an intimate date night. We sat in thr family friendly area, but there is a 21+ bar...
