Tony's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Riverside

Definitely hate to do this because I love this place but I Ordered food tonight got home fed the kids first and the tacos were wrong. I asked for plain chicken taco plate and the tacos came with lettuce tomato cheese , beans were so dry and sad . Our shredded beef tacos were extremely dry and only filled half the taco , All tacos were cracked , I thought the asada quesadillas (we ordered two) were fine but when I opened them all the way the grease was so bad it’s inedible. I cooked it a little more in hopes it would help but my guac and sour cream didn’t taste so well. I called and they are super close to closing MINUTES (I called and picked up after 7pm , got off early so went after work) they wanted me to bring the food back within their own time frame mind you I live 15 min away and my husband went to get the kids tacos from del taco 5 minutes away (the kids were starving at this point ) the worker stated I had to bring the food back in order to get a refund or it remade. I’m not sure what time ima get off work tomorrow normally don’t make it home til 8pm but they NEED AND WANT the food back I have pictures and videos but they want the food. I work 8-8 I paid 70.00 for food that was pretty bad. Okay so I came here to expect good mexican food and what I get is garbage! I read all these great reviews and I have high expectations but i guess you can't trust everyone! The burritos tasted like nothing...the tacos weren't the worst but I expected better! The restaurant looked disgusting and dirty!!! There was only one person who wasn't even friendly! The tables looked like they were probably washed a long time ago! Restaurant smelled bad! It was very small place! They had no flavored soda, only orange crush, the sierra mist had litterally NO FLAVOR! No Horchata! I really don't know whY people come to this nasty restaurant! I really don't reccomend it unless you like disgusting food and not good...

This place use to be a 5 star Mexican food stop. I used to live in riverside and when you wanted a been, rice and cheese burritos this was the place. I would drowned them in there amazing red sauce. My Fiancé went today to get a few BRC burritos. They were terrible. At least 90% of the burrito was rice. The red sauce recipe has changed and isn’t close to as good as it use to be. I really hope they can get it together and make things like they use to. At least make the burritos 50/50 beans and rice and bring back the red sauce that would make me drive 20 miles from where I live now to get what use to be the best BRC burritos with that...
