Just wanted to give thanks to this location for such great customer service, great fresh food, and going above & beyond for their customers!!! There are still great people in the world based on my experience with this Jason's Deli today. Thank you so much Alexis & Joanna for being such great human beings ❤️.
Long back story, sorry: Today me & my co-worker ordered Jason's Deli through Uber Eats like we normally do about once a week. But today, Jason's Deli provided exceptionally great service. We placed our Uber order in time for our 9:00am lunch break, and it showed delivery would have been on time. I called the store and spoke with Alexis just to make sure we had enough crackers for our soups & to see if there would be a delay on their end. She said they were waiting on the driver and if we didn't get our food in time to let her know. So, tracking our order via Uber and messaging the driver, who let us know she arrived at the store. (I drive for Uber Eats and Door Dash so I know how things can go.) The driver was responsive at 1st, but when we saw our delivery time get pushed back, she didn't respond anymore until after she was headed to us. I asked the driver "if she had a delivery before ours?" So we could go to break a little later to make sure we could retrieve our food, but no response from her. Again, I texted, "we would be on break, and if she could give us an eta, so we could wait outside for her," but still no response. The last updated time on the delivery tracker said 9:34am, Jason's is only 19 mins away and it showed the driver was en route, but at 9:00am, she should be arriving @9:20am. I even Google mapped it, & there were no traffic delays. So, I tried to call the driver, but the phone# was not working, and she still wouldn't respond via messages. I understand she was driving, but at least have the correct phone# listed. So, @9:25am she finally responds that she had just dropped of another delivery & was headed to us, she said her eta 9:41am. So I responded that she could've let us know about the other delivery when I asked her earlier, so we could've planned clocking out for lunch accordingly, but that we would still be waiting outside for her; tracker still showing eta 9:34am. But at @9:30am we get a message that our order was canceled. I called Uber, of course they were no help, just apologized & said our order would be refunded. They had no explanation for why the driver canceled our order and offered no further assistance in contacting the driver. So, I called Jason's Deli, spoke with Joanna, explained that we didn't get our food, and that Alexis said to call her back. So, Joanna conferred with Alexis and said they would re-make our order and deliver it to us by our next break free of charge. And they did just that!!! Our food was good, fresh, and arrived on time. Read moreThis Friday has been amazing to me and to make it even better I ordered lunch from here (for my first time) that came with great customer service from an employee by the name of Jennifer. With the fact that I didn't really know anything about their menu, I called ahead of time with some questions that she was very willing to answer with a great attitude. Which, she made my soup choice that much easier! Then, when I went to pick up my order, unfortunately, my drink was not brought out with my meal. For the record, it was not her that brought out my meal. Anyhow, I called the location back and informed them of this mishap and I simply suggested the possibility of me coming back on a different day to grab a drink at no charge. To this suggestion, she had a much better offer. She asked me to choose between having it taken off of my original ticket or she could have my drink delivered to me with some complimentary cookies. I must say, I honestly thought that I had misheard her because I've never heard of having your missed items delivered to you. Read moreI ordered a chicken panini from this store last night and upon checkout, it showed me the the option to choose from "Sandwich" or "manager's special", I chose manager's special because I though it might have something extra since it gave me the option to choose side, there was nowhere it was mentioned that it is ONLY HALF sandwich in manager's special. I picked up my sandwich and opened the box at home and found that it was only half sandwich. I called the restaurant and asked about this, they understood and requested me to come anytime later to pickup rest of the sandwich. I called next day to pickup the sandwich and lady who picked up the phone this time was the store manager. Her response to me "you got what you ordered, that's not my mistake, it is a corporate website issue, not my problem". Great, I hung up the phone.
