This is my first time eating here, so I have no idea what to expect. The menu seems fairly straight forward with pizza, burgers, and some pasta items. We ordered a pizza, medium-size, and asked for half-and-half on the toppings. One half was salami and Italian sausage. The other half was mushrooms and black olives. We ordered a pitcher of Diet Coke as well. Originally what I wanted was a turkey burger if it was on the menu, but it wasn't. We went with the pizza because the pastas just didn't strike our fancy at that moment. The pitcher and two accompanying mugs were frozen solid before being served to us. I really, really liked this idea. No ice to water down the flavor. The seating arrangements weren't too bad. We took a booth by the front windows and waited for our food to arrive. It was hot outside, but cool inside, so we enjoyed the nice A/C offered throughout the building. The seats and table are all solid wood, so not the most comfortable thing to sit on for more than an hour. The pizza came out and was very fresh and hot. However, what disappointed me was the crust was thin (I would have preferred a thicker hand-tossed crust), and the toppings were sparse. The cheese and sauce weren't anything special as well, but at least they had a good flavor. The three star rating is due to the lack of toppings overall and the crust just being too much like a burnt cracker. I paid almost $20 for this meal, $15 just for the pizza alone. It wasn't worth the price in my opinion. We might eat here again one day and try something else besides the pizza. So if you're ever in Rockport and in the mood for a homemade pizza, try this place. The beer is also served in those same frozen mugs. Have a good day!

We came to Rockport for the Hummerbird Festival and the Whooping Crane Festival, and we tried Panjo's the first time we came. We loved it so much, it was the first place we ate when we came back! Super yummy, wonderfully cooked, and customizable.

This is great Pizza! We thoroughly enjoyed our supreme pizza and an ice cold bud light! It's a very unique place not a TV anywhere, not a problem. Just different. We ordered the supreme Pizza with a side salad however, they didn't have the normal fare for salad dressings only one choice. House Vinaigrette was the only available option. I quickly ordered knowing It was going to be something special... The salad was served with a bit of feta cheese... my wife says blue cheese on top...whatever it was just, delicious vinaigrette. Definitely was looking for more because it's was just a side salad... Next time gonna go big Yum! Definitely going to go back again and try some of their other fair next time I'm in Rockport, Texas It was interesting looking around the restaurant. This wasn't the typical signage or advertisements but there were business signs around the whole restaurant from a sign maker that made them 8" x 11" signs for businesses in the area. The whole restaurant was full of them. We took time to look at them all. Thanks to the bearded man at the register. Thanks Jim

First off I will say the pizza is great. Service is poor at best. This is my 4th time here in the last 6 weeks. We recently bought a place here in Rockport. Panjo’s is the only place for pizza down here unless you consider Pizza Hut, or Dominos pizza. No disrespect, and in a lot of ways what you get in the way of service at those places is better. First off, forget calling ahead to try and order, and ordering online??? Forget about it… Panjo’s does not even have that capability. They stated ā€œwe are a small business and do not need to offer online ordering.ā€ I’m sorry but a well run business offers their customers a variety of ways to access their products, whether it be storefront, online, curbside, etc…..

Therefore on a busy Friday, or Saturday night, you have to actually go there, stand in line just to order… then be given your estimated wait tome. Only to drive back, or hang around at the restaurant which based off previous experience I advise against. Main reason being that they charge for fountain drink refills!!!!!!!!! I mean who does that these days???? Charge me double for the price of the drink and don’t bother me with a .50 refill… it’s annoying and honestly unacceptable. I cannot think of a single restaurant, fast food or sit down that charges for refills these days.

The folks that work there are RUDE. They do not have ranch, and they do not have sweet tea. What pizza place in Texas serves pizza and not ranch!!??? I’m sorry, but I will NEVER go back to Panjo’s ever again. I would rather eat mediocre pizza with Ranch, unlimited refills and good customer service then spend another dime at this establishment.

This business model will not last and I’ll be looking forward to seeing them get closed down. Dying business model that refuses to adapt to newer more...

The food here is generally excellent, but the service is notoriously bad. You will never see a server smile here, but they make their own pasta. This restraunt is a semi self serve place. You ever by the counter with menus pasted to the wall on one side, and a divider on the other. You're expected to order at the counter and pay. If you order a drink they'll give you cups, then you seat yourself. The tables, chairs, and benches are moveable so they'll accommodate both groups and wheelchairs well. If you get tea, it's directly to the left of the counter and easy to find at the back of the dining room. There you will find a service bar with an ice bin, lemons and limes, tea, water, and sweeteners. There is no sugar added to the tea, and it's kept warm for good reason. This allows those who like sugar in it to add as little or as much as they like, and it will dissolve quickly. THEN you add ice. The post hurricane Harvey Panjo's has no ad signs, and is cleaner than I remember. They make a great pizza here, but it's all thin crust. The burgers are real, fat, hearty and made when you order like everything else. For me though, the attraction here is the freshly made pasta. My favorite version is the teriyaki chicken plate. It is teriyaki chicken breast served on a bed of fettuccine noodles, with a pineapple ring on top, and garlic toast. The plates come with a salad topped in bean sprouts, and blue cheese crumbles. The food makes up for the scowling employees, but until I see an employee who looks like they WANT to be...
