Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Rosemead

(*For those who do not want to read everything I wrote, the cahier ignored me and the janitor rolled her eyes at me) I use to love Nothing Bundt Cakes, however, I always went to the location in Pasadena which never gave me any problems as the staff was always kind and welcoming. I recently moved to Rosemead and I have been craving a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, so I decided to try this location which is closest to me. I was having a particularly bad day so I was really looking forward to purchasing a cake. However, my errands took longer for me to do and time flew by. When I parked my car in front of the store I saw a woman inside at the cashier and a man enter through the doors to grab an order and leave. I went to open the door after the woman and man inside left and was shocked when the door wouldn't open. I looked up and try to catch the female cashier's attention but she obviously ignored me and ducked down behind the counter to look at the cakes all while I was still trying to figure out what was going on. The cashier starts heading toward the back when a female janitor comes out of the back room and the cashier tells her something while they look at me, the cahier leaves to the back and the janitor walks up to the door and asks me what I needed and if I was picking up something to which I politely asked if there was something wrong with the door or if they were closing and the lady points up at the schedule which I missed on the door which said that they were closing at 6:00 pm and I checked my phone and saw that is was 6:07 pm. I apologize to the lady and tell her that I lost track of time but the lady rolls her eyes at me and turns around and eaves me mid-sentence. I was so shocked and hurt by these actions that I left and joined my sister who was also confused by the actions of these two ladies as there were two people in the store right before I entered and the man had no trouble opening the door nor did the cashier seem rude to them. I understand that I should have realized that they were closed but that is no excuse to be rude to someone. I was having such a bad day and was confused when I saw the woman and man enter the store before me. I don't know whether I should make the trip to Pasadena to finally buy my cakes because I am a busy college student and I barely have any time on my hands. Also, I now feel hurt by the actions of these employees so Nothing Bundt Cakes doesn't feel appealing to me anymore. Maybe the employees were also having a bad day and I made it worse. However, I maintained a polite attitude and I still don't understand how these employees could not do the same for...

This establishment has been notified of drivers using 3rd party accounts using fraudulent accounts.

Upon confrontation, they were combative and disillusioned that 3rd party drivers were using fraudulent accounts to deliver goods to customers expecting legitimate drivers to deliver their orders.

This location was notified that they are openly offering orders to fraudulent accounts using someone else's SSN through 3rd party apps, the associate became hostile and combative and denied their name Upon request.

A follow up of group training has been issued through corporate.

Be aware that when ordering through this location, you are subject to an individual that has not been vetted properly through a 3rd party app, and that this location doesn't care how your order is delivered.

Nothing Bundt Cakes should vet drivers properly and learn how to engage customers and 3rd party drivers more appropriately

This location has admitted to allowing drivers that aren't vetted to pick up orders. Your driver could have felonies and other convictions. The staff here has been confronted on this and they are well aware of the fraudulent activity.

I happened to stumble upon the store one day and was curious about what kind of treats they had. They had some samples out so I was able to try various Bundt flavors and they were delicious!

Their shop is small but simple. They have a handful of flavors that are regulars, and some flavors that are on rotation.

The cake is so moist and soft. The frosting on the cakes is super yummy too. It isn’t too sweet, but adds the right amount of flavor you need to spice up the cake. One of my favorites Bundt is the confetti cake; not only does it taste good, but it also looks cute too! They also age well, so if you don’t feel like eating it all at once, you can save it in your fridge!

Nothing Bundt Cakes also carries seasonal flavors that are usually themed to the month or holiday. I recently tried their snickerdoodle flavor and was very happy with it! Had a nice cinnamon flavor but reminded me more of coffee cake than a snickerdoodle cookie. To be honest you can’t go wrong with any of the flavors you order, I’ve tried most of them and enjoyed them all!
