Finestkind — Restaurant in Saco

This is probably the worst breakfast experience I have ever had. I don’t even know where to begin with this review. I am not one to write reviews, but I felt this was necessary. Me and my daughter are on our way to church. Wanted to grab a couple of breakfast sandwiches. Let’s start off by when I walk in. It is massively confusing on who is ordering who is waiting for food there is no logical system in place nor does the employees try to manage that broken system (you’ll have to figure it out for yourself). When we get up to pay for our to go breakfast sandwiches that we called in, The girl behind the counter told me the amount would be $32 and change. 🤯😳I advised that She probably had the wrong order and that I only ordered two breakfast sandwiches to go. She advised me yes that was the price. Absolutely absurd. My daughter went to open hers in the truck in the following picture below, (pics don’t even do it justice) It was a disaster, pretty much uneatable. Dripping all over my truck from the moment we started unwrapping it and look like it was slapped together. At this point, I’m hoping to God it tastes good to justify anything that we have just experienced… It was absolutely disgusting and my daughter couldn’t finish more than a couple bites. Mine was bland to say the least with no taste at all. Shoving it down my throat to justify just paying $32 For two breakfast sandwiches…(also couldn’t finish it) I will never go back there, and I would advise people to stay far away, There are so many better places with better food and tremendously better prices. This was a horrible experience. All the 5 star reviews must be co workers...

So happy that Finestkind opened in Saco; it’s a great addition to our little downtown. Both my dining partner & I enjoyed the wonderful coffee - full-bodied & smooth. The coffee alone will be enough to bring us back. I had the Eggs Benedict & having eaten this dish everywhere this was the best! The ham was griddled, the English muffin was homemade & yummy, the eggs were cooked to be nice & runny & the hollandaise sauce was THE BEST. I have no idea what was different but the sauce was creamy, mellow & perfect. My dining partner had the classic breakfast & my one taste of his house made jam has decided me to return for something toasted & loaded with Finestkind’s jam.We bought a number of pastries to share with friends. Today, I had the pleasure of dining at Finestkind in Saco, and I was quite impressed! I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon, and I must say, the English muffin they used was fantastic. The sandwich was delicious, although I felt it could have had a bit more bacon for the extra charge. Overall, though, it was a great-tasting breakfast sandwich that hit the spot.

I also tried their mocha iced coffee, which came out quickly. While I was a bit disappointed with the small glass size compared to other coffee shops in the area, the flavor was anything but basic. It certainly surpassed the typical iced coffee you get from places like Dunkin'.

The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, adding to the positive vibe of the place. I would definitely recommend giving this spot a try if you're in the area!
