Visited during the noon hour, and had the steamed rice w/ teriyaki chicken (a lunch special). Had a choice between regular or spicy sauce.. I chose spicy but it was barely spicy at all. The food was ready, they just had to put the plate together and then I paid, so I'm not sure if other items take longer to prepare but this dish had no wait time. Food w/ soda was $9 and change. No line at 12:40 but could've been busy earlier. Food is ok for a cafe. Not outrageously good but decent. Salad seemed to come right out of a bag i.e. pre-cut. Again nothing fancy but wasn't necessarily expecting that. Oh and note that breakfast ends at 11am. I usually get the seabreeze/seaweed salad here for $4, or fresh sliced fruit for $2.50. I've been told their sandwiches are decent to varying degrees but I haven't tried any as of yet, as most are more than $7 for a sandwich alone. Unless you come before 11:30am, expect this place to be very busy and crowded with lines out of the front door. Parking sucks in this part of town so I recommend coming here on foot...

Ive used it at home on everything from chicken salad to brushing it on chicken and bbqing. The owner is always there and so friendly and attentive.
