Itâs sad that I have to give them one star, but mainly because of service provided by their employees. We came afternoon and ordered some coffee, politely drink it and calmly chatted about different things before my interview with new employer. Naturally, I had to go for a bathroom before we decided to leave and I realized that someone been in there for excessive amount of time. I waited for another 5-7 minutes then tried again, to my surprise itâs still were closed. Then I came back to my table, again for several minutes and finally when I couldnât wait anymore, I went there one more time and met a rude employee that said sheâs gonna close the bathroom for another 15 minutes. The other barista told me to use public restrooms next couple of blocks from shop (that I find UNACCEPTABLE and rude), smiling in my face. I canât stress enough how bad I felt, holding my pee and see that no one cares to open second bathroom for their customer. Look, I do get it that bathrooms needs to be cleaned and dried, but total of 15-25 minutes is simply absurd, especially when you have a customer spending good money at your store that you donât give a dime about says it all. Open the second one if you have to! BTW, bathrooms were dirty and no paper towel provided, that will lead to spread of germs and illness since everybody touching the door handle and a pitcher attached to a key. I will never return to this store and will never recommend this particular place to any of my friends or co-workers....
Read moreDuring my stay in Sacramento, I walked the 7mins to Temple coffee from my hotel room instead of going to the Starbucks around the corner. I think itâs worth going to a local shop.
So far Iâve tried the Mexican hot chocolate with oat milk, and an orange cold brew with a coconut foam. The cold brew is seasonal. I liked the Mexican hot chocolate, and even got it with the house made whipped cream. I donât like whipped cream, but this one was pretty good and added some body to the drink. I couldâve used more spices in it, but I liked it nonetheless.
The cold brew was interesting. I found it to be bitter, but didnât mind it too much with the orange flavor. I did get the vegan version with the coconut cream, but perhaps having it with regular cream wouldâve made it taste different.
What makes me come back is the employees. They are very friendly and enthusiastic. I bought one of their glasses because I like their logo, and the cashier said I made a really good choice lol. He wrapped it up for me as well.
I visited this location very early in the morning, but I imagine it can get packed as the day goes by. Itâs an inviting atmosphere and provides a lot of seating for groups and individuals alike. And their pastries looked so good, but I didnât get any because breakfast was provided for me during this business trip. I will have to treat myself to a...
Read moreExcellent coffee! Kind, efficient, knowledgeable & patient staff. Sparkly clean dining area, bathrooms & patio.
My mocha was the best I've had in years, and they offer several non-dairy options. The cowboy cookie was mmm good - a sharable portion with just the right measure of moist interior & crispy exterior, very fresh.
The entire facility is very clean, organized & comfortably furnished. Noise levels varied but never required raised voices for conversation with my accompanying friends.
The bar at the street facing window has ample under counter power outlets for your devices, and is great for people watching with a decent view of Caesar Chavez Park.
It is also worth mentioning that everything is easily ADA accessible.
Overall a great spot to sip your beverage & relax with or without friends, or grab your goodies and skip over to the park.
Apologies for lack of photos of the drinks & other goodies. I will take more next time, because of course, I will be back.
Thank you Temple, see...
