I have been attending Mass at the Cathedral for many years, and let me tell you, it has been an incredible journey! In 2012, I had the privilege of joining the cathedral choir on a pilgrimage to Spain and Fatima, which was an experience of a lifetime. The kindness and helpfulness of Bishop Soto and all the others involved in the cathedral are truly heartwarming.

Now, let me tell you about the amazing choir director, Rex. This person is simply extraordinary! His talent and passion for music shine through in every performance, making the Mass even more uplifting and inspiring.

One of the things I love most about this church is the abundance of prayer altars. You can light a candle or simply find a quiet spot to offer your most holy prayers. And if you take a moment to sit in the church and look up, you'll always find Jesus, the most high, eagerly waiting to hear your prayer requests or simply be present in adoration.

The beauty of the church is truly captivating. From the stations of the cross to the stunning artwork, every corner is filled with awe-inspiring sights. And let's not forget the holy water, which is always plentiful and ready for you to bless yourself or take some home.

This is a BEAUTIFUL Church to visit while at Sacramento and at the State Capital. We were just going to Sacramento to burn a few hours, and I saw the State Capital near old town.So we parked and I put some money in the parking meter. By the way, the parking meters take coins, debit cards,and use the parking meter app. We walked around the front of the capital and I saw the church nearby on Google map,so we headed there. It is a short 10 min walk from the front of the capital to the church. We did see a couple homeless near the church,but it was mid day and we felt perfectly safe,and I am very careful to avoid any security issues on the street. All I can say is WOWWWWW !!!!!!!! What an amazingly touching experience I had inside the church. I am protestant,but I definately felt God inside that church,and I have to say I walked away feeling better inside.The paintings,mosaics,and decorations inside the church are just beautiful,and whether catholic,protestant,or whatever,I highly encourage you to visit this church during visiting...
