Normally I don’t do this but I went in today to this Starbucks and had the most awkward service ever. There’s was this chubby, dark mixed guy working (it was at 5p), and he said he will be right with me, I waited and waited and waited, and he walked back and forth numerous times, there was this girl working the bar (black girl), as she was walking over to the food bar she greeted me, and he said something to her but I guess she couldn’t take my order either because she had to take care of something “personal” don’t know. So I wait and the guy seemed like he didn’t want to take my order so he punched in something on the computer and I waited thinking he was goin to help me, after 30 seconds of him doing “something” on one of the registers he walks over to the end of the bar to proceed to put in coffee beans in the grinding thing I assume, so I was like I guess no one will take my order then, feeling dumb and upset after waiting 3 4 minutes to be helped I just walked out. Totally rude, and awkward he seemed, like whatever. However he felt I don’t care, I just wanted to be helped and oh for my order, the guy was (the on I mentioned in the beginning) and the girl too for just walking off. Never going back again, and don’t recommend this...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at this location recently. As a woman without a car, I rely on public transportation — and when my phone battery was low, I just needed a quick charge to check the bus schedule and get home safely.
To my surprise, I was told by staff that I had to purchase something before I could use an outlet. I understand policies are policies, but it felt unnecessarily rigid and unwelcoming. What made it feel even stranger is that I’ve been to another location in Arden where I was able to sit peacefully, charge my phone, and wasn’t pressured to buy anything immediately.
It’s disheartening that something so simple — like briefly charging a phone — becomes difficult in some places. As an Army Veteran, I’m used to dealing with challenges, but I still expect a basic level of understanding and respect, especially in public spaces like cafés.
I hope this location reconsiders how it treats people who just need a moment to get their bearings. Sometimes it’s about more than just a purchase — it’s about...
Read moreI’m not gonna leave a bad review cause the rest of the staff is always bomb. But Miss Erica (older lady) gave us nothing but tude today! We ordered what they had on sample and she said I don’t know what that is and just looked at us. We pointed and to where the samples were and she said I don’t know what that is again. We all just stood there to look, and nothing was posted. So the other young lady tells her and she gave her attitude too. I was like damn. You don’t know much or how to figure it out? I didn’t say it out loud cause I respect my elders, but it put all of us off. We all agreed she gave us the same vibe. She needs to be talked to. Starbucks is usually a happy place. But anywho. Thanks to everyone else who usually serves us, we’ve never had this...
