When I go watch the Kings at Golden 1 Center. I usually either eat inside Golden 1 Center or at Old Sacramento until I discover Thai Lotus Cuisine.
I had dinner here three times in less than a month. They have a simple menu. But everything I have tried is delicious. I like the curry chicken noodles the best!
The restaurant has one gentleman taking the dining room and one chef taking care of the kitchen. They're not very busy all three times when I'm there. The guy who works in the dining room is fast and polite.
The dining room is comfortable and well lit. It is very clean. I enjoyed my meals there. It is much better than eating my dinner inside the arena.
Street parking is available in the area. The parking garage is nearby. But please pay attention the restaurant is behind the building on J Street. You have to walk down a few stairs to find...
Read moreThe service was excellent, I ordered takeout but decided to dine in and the man was very easy going and polite. The restaurant looks clean and is a comfortable space to enjoy a meal. Even though I ordered take out, when I was eating in the restaurant he offered to fill my water container with ice multiple times. I ordered the pad thai with extra toufu and the portions was massive. You can easily feed 2 adults and a couple of children on the pad thai alone, the taste of the pad thai was really different then most places in a unique way. It wasn't as much sauce as I anticipated but had a good balance. The toufu was also a good bite, only recommendation is I wish the dish as more flavors. A little more peanut and other flavors and the dish would be...
Read moreExcited to have found some other food than sandwiches and burgers. Came here for a business lunch. Service is slow. They only have two wait staff with multiple functions from taking orders, cashier, serving food and cleaning tables. Not too sanitary. The wait staff did not wash their hands or hand sanitize between each function. Didn't have the option to order from their regular menu. The waiter insisted that the meals available are the only ones on the lunch menu. Salad is in minimal portion. Food was decent tasting. Not really Thai Food. Maybe this is the only Thai restaurant in downtown Sacramento. It's only busy because it's the only restaurant in a rundown Chinatown area. This business would have not survived in...
