Disappointing Experience Due to Inconsistent ID Policy Enforcement

I recently visited this location with a group of friends and was met with a disconcerting experience regarding the establishment's handling of international IDs. Despite providing a physical international ID, one of my friends was initially denied service. After a second employee confirmed the acceptability of the ID, we were served, only to be later refused service again by the first employee without a valid reason.

This inconsistency was further highlighted when another group was allowed service with their international IDs without issue. The lack of a clear and uniformly applied policy left us feeling unfairly singled out and disrespected. Efforts to resolve the matter with management have been unsuccessful, as our contact information was left but no follow-up communication was received.

I stumbled upon the Root of Happiness Kava Bar in Midtown and I'm so glad I did! Vanessa was an absolute gem - she took the time to beautifully explain the different kava drinks and the unique style and brand that Root of Happiness brings to the table.

What really impressed me was the care and attention to detail that Vanessa and the team bring to each drink. They've crafted a truly unique experience that's unlike anywhere else.

And the best part? I got to sample one of their signature drinks and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIP! The flavors were expertly balanced and the vibe was just right.

Hey Travis, I am a regular who visits all 3 locations in the area. RANCHO, Sac and Roseville. Bar Staff, Drinks and Atmosphere is Excellent. However the new Security Guard Travis needs a lot of work when approaching customers to in his words “Get paid to Make sure you have your ID” with. Really negative, bullish, overbearing attitude” (I will be 50 in June) and also a current business owner, and former District Manager of 9 Locations of the company I worked for in 2023. When I walked out to me car and back in, he didn’t even ask to see it upon return. I felt live leaving altogether.
