Trophy Club — Restaurant in Sacramento

First time here. There is no sign to the place which gives the feel of a speakeasy. For non-members, one is expected to provide a password to get in and getting in is not a given besucase they prioritize members. Knowing this, we got to the place sharp at 5 pm right when they open. We got in on a Saturday with no issue. We had the place to ourselves and I must say, the decor, ambience and details are awesome. Chairs and space are very comfortable. At least while we were there we had to go to the bar to order. That was OK because not much crowd. However, this may be an issue with a fuller establishment. They have a nice selection of cocktails already but if one wants something else not in the menu, do not be shy and ask. I actually think that the best drinks were those that my wife ordered off menu, although I must say the Hotel Nacional was superb! Bartenders were receptive and willing to accommodate request. As we go through this hard time with closures and sheltering, there are some still out in the fight for you and I. Selflessly providing care for the sick and injured. My recommendation is that when you reopen, open for the medical professionals that have worked so hard to keep us safe and provide emergency care in the face of this pandemic. Duuuuuuuude... this place is amazing. Stopped off here from a recommendation of another local bartender. Was lucky enough to have Tony as my cocktail Sherpa for the evening. I asked him to make me whatever he felt like making and I was not disappointed. The two cocktails he made me were some of the best I've ever had.
