I Love this Pizza, but they fall short in some key areas. For example, the other night I was expecting company I knew would love their pizza. I went online to order, as this is the only way to get their pizza delivered. My guests were coming around midnight so I placed the order an hour ahead for a whole pizza, which was about $24 plus $6 delivery, $3 tax, and $5 for the tip. Unfortunately, at 10 mins to 12:00, I receive a call from the delivery associate, informing me that they do not (will not) sell whole pizzas after 11:00pm; however, I can still purchase individual slices (6 slices compose an entire pie), AND that the pizza-by-the-slice price is much higher after 11:00 pm. Why the website allowed me to order is beyond me. Additionally, there is absolutely no mention of a "the later you dine, the more you pay" pricing structure on the restaurant's online menu. So I was left with starving guests, and with little notice to make alternative plans. Okay, so all of that was quite frustrating, but I really love this pizza, so the next night I go there in person to order and eat at Uncle Vito's. You will immediately notice that the entrance to the place is, the flip-up bar counter, and the beginning of the line to order ALL occupy the same 12 square feet. Whether you are coming or going, you will have to squeeze through the line of people--EVEN if to join the back of the line. Want a refill of soda, or to add something? I guess it's back to the end of the line again. Last observation: Can somebody give the cook a microphone to let people know their pizza is ready? Shouting names out may be everyone else's stereotype of New York pizza, when your pie is ready-- but in California, it's spreading germs by way of micro-phlegm ejection, or that which inevitably occurs when the cook has to SCREAM YOUR NAME louder than the TVs and all the patrons inside this busy sports bar. To call it ridiculous, would be an...
Read moreI visited this location on Tuesday, September 26 and experienced the worst customer service in my life. My partner and I were third or fourth in line when we were pulled by one of the employees who said that they could check us out with one of their handheld devices. The device was having issues and they walked away to speak with the cashier. They spoke amongst themselves and didn’t speak a word to us. Naturally, I assumed our server passed our order onto the cashier for entry. I let a few couples go ahead before I followed up with the cashier to confirm they entered our order because the cashier never requested payment and our server walked away without saying a word. The cashier said they were sorry about that and rang us up. After 40 minutes of waiting for 2 slices of pizza, my partner followed up with the kitchen after witnessing groups of people who ordered after us receive and finish their food. The kitchen told us they never received our order. The cashier said they had connection issues (seemed like our order was the only issue) but made no moves to expedite our order in anyway despite all of the blunders since our arrival. My partner was alright just knowing that our order was finally with the kitchen but I was stunned at this point. I asked the cashier if that was all they were doing and he began to get rude and extremely defensive, asking me what did I want? Did I want another slice of pizza? What?? I told him that I didn’t want another slice as I ordered and paid for enough pizza to get full. I asked if he had a meal voucher or something because he couldn’t honestly say we experienced anything close to mediocre service our whole time there. He provided me with his location’s number and his manager’s name. I left them a voicemail on Wednesday, September 27 and haven’t heard back. Don’t waste your hard earned money at this place. There are a ton of other pizza places with great customer service and even better tasting pizza in...

Google maps said they close at 2am on Saturday night. I arrived at 1:30, ordered two slices (pepperoni and special) and while I was waiting to get my pizza, they had begun to clear the lobby. Which is completely understandable.
I sat outside and had the pepperoni slice which was pretty good and oily like a pep pizza should be and then I had their specialty slice which was a chicken/bell pepper combo which was not as hot or oily and because of that the cheese was pretty chalky and the slice was dry. That being said, I needed something to wash it down.
I went inside to get a cup for water and both the security woman and a blonde woman employee told me the lobby was closing and denied a cup for water even after explaining the situation.
I understand the lobby was closing. I was requesting a free beverage that would've taken 0 effort and it was so that I could eat their product comfortably.
I was not requesting a mixed drink or to remain in the lobby, I just wanted something to wash down a dry slice.
I even tried giving them cash and they declined.
This is unacceptable. I needed water in order for me to comfortably enjoy their food, this isn't unheard of, but I didn't like that they denied a very effortless and humane request.
In a world where AI is and will become more prevalent, you need humans to act humane. A clock on the wall should not stop you from giving a paying patron something that is free of charge and will enhance their visit to your establishment and overall experience.
If this is the attitude expected from this establishment? I will definitely not return nor recommend. There are several other late night pizza places in Sacramento.
