Walking into Sha’s Coffee is an experience all on its own. The second you open the door, you’re completely surrounded by the rich, warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee and teas—it’s one of those scents that instantly makes you slow down, breathe a little deeper, and know you’re in the right place.
The variety here is unmatched anywhere close by. You don’t just find your standard coffee or tea—they’ve got flavors and blends that make you excited to try something new every time you stop in. On my most recent visit, I picked up Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble, Jamaican Me Crazy, Viennese Cinnamon, and Ginger Peach Tea. Each one has its own personality and smells just as incredible as it tastes.
And it’s not just the coffee and tea—they even have fun little extras. I couldn’t resist grabbing a can of Slap Ya Mama seasoning, partly because it’s made by “Walker & Sons,” and since my last name is Walker and I’ve got two sons, it felt like it was meant to be. Those kinds of personal touches are what make Sha’s so special—you never know what gem you’ll discover, but you can count on it being high quality and unique.
The shop itself is cozy and welcoming, and it’s clear that everything is chosen with care. If you’re a coffee or tea lover, this is the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to again and again. Friendly, flavorful, and full of character—Shea’s is truly a...
Read moreLove love LOVE this place! It’s now on my must stop list anytime I’m in St Louis! We were on a girls trip (mom sister and myself, St. Louis is halfway between all of us). I stopped in just for some coffee I needed more caffeine and decided to try iced. Omg when that first sip hit my mouth I can’t even express. No words. I immediately asked what the coffee was (it was Figuero’s Blend!). So I decided to get a half pound of that, then went back up front where they had a sampler deal, buy four get one free, so of course I bought ten. Because if that coffee was so good it nearly dropped me right then and there I knew I wanted to try as many varieties as possible. I have finished Viennese with Cinnamon (ok, like still crazy good just not insanely life changing like the other two have been) and am on my last bit of Summer Yumm (OMG just as mind blowing as Figuero but in a brighter perkier way!!!). I also got tea (but tried to limit myself as I had gone on a tea splurge at a spice shop down in Alabama...) and a super neat infuser, they had several but I made myself just choose one...I am so so SO excited to try the rest and then put...

At Sha's you are greeted by a multitude of tantalizing flavors-- Chocolate Raspberry, Snickerdoodle, White Chocolate Macadamia, etc. Not sure what to get? Sample packets, $3 for one pot's worth of their delicious gourmet coffee. Doing the decaf thing? Thankfully, it seems like pretty much any flavor you get in regular you can find in decaf--which is a relief to those of us who drink decaf and are sick of our only decaf options being plain and french vanilla.
Not sure? Step into the shop, inhale the aroma, and you too will heed the siren's call of Sha's beans.
So the next time you find yourself, listless, cold, weary, and fighting off an impending bout of existential dread. You brew up some Sha's coffee, and BAM, the will to live will return. Sha's coffee, it's the will to live in a cup.
P.S. Staff is...
