420 to Center — Restaurant in Saint John

Checked out 420 and learned a little more Boston history and watch Superbowl bowl in their large outdoor patio screen. Food was great with a true smokehouse taste and tenderness we are used to back home. Service was good when you got it... It's bar service only for food and drinks and can get busy and hard to get "in line". After that your well taken care of as they run the food quickly and clean up just as quickly . Limited drinks and beer selection at the bar, but today may have been an expedition for Superbowl , but u should still be prepared .

Cleanliness is not a focus and sorry the washroom needs major help. So if your rating on washroom cleanliness it won't pass, like.many on the island ...

This is a great unsuspecting bar that creates a cozy atmosphere for locals and visitors alike. The bar was recently remodeled and is a large square shaped bar with plenty of seating. There is also an array of eclectic tables, chairs and sofas to lounge at for large groups. The drinks are cold and strong delivered with friendly service from all the bar staff including the owner Sharkey. Best value on St. John! If you're looking for a place with great food and drinks at more reasonable prices, this is the spot. Their menu is simple (burgers and other typical bar food; the crab ragoons are excellent) and there may not be an ocean view, but this is definitely the place to go if you want a break from the $30-$50 entrees and $10 cocktails and a chance to mingle with the locals.
