Chris' Beachside Bar — Restaurant in Saint Pete Beach

Where do I even begin...Chris and all his staff were so friendly and helpful!! My husband and I hosted our wedding celebration at the Plaza Beach Hotel- Beach Side Resort where Chris's Beachside Bar is located. We could not have pulled it off without the help from Chris and his staff. From helping us make sure we had everything we needed drink wise, to helping us layout and set up our tent and tables in the most efficient way possible, they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The day of our event we rented out his services and he made sure all of our guest were well taken care of! After the festivities, when it was time to start breaking down, his staff was there waiting and willing to help us! WE could not have pulled off our special day without him. Besides helping us out so tremendously, Chris's Beachside bar was one of our favorite places to hang out the rest of the weekend! 5 Stars! A Hidden Gem with Great Vibes (and a Squirrel Celebrity!) Despite a cloudy day at St. Pete Beach, our spirits were instantly lifted when we stumbled upon Chris' Beachside Bar, just a short walk from the beach access. This place is a real find! The drink prices were fantastic – you can't beat $6 for a Corona Light, but their other specials were even better: $3 beers, $4 Bloody Marys, and plenty of $5 and $6 beer options. Seriously budget-friendly for a beachside spot. But the real highlight of Chris' Beachside Bar is their adorable resident squirrel, Peanut! This little guy is a total character. He comes right down to the bartender for interactions, and the best part? Peanut has his very own miniature picnic table with a red umbrella – it was the cutest thing we've ever seen! It really added to the unique and fun atmosphere of the bar.
