Mermaids Gentleman's Club — Restaurant in Saint Pete Beach

BEWARE THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! Was on vacation in St. Pete Beach a couple weeks ago and meet a friend here for a drink. Place was dirty, the girls were ugly and the staff was very unfriendly. After having 1 drink I paid $23.00 with my bank card and left, the next morning my bank sent me a txt saying my account was charged three times the $23.00 (my 1 drink) $494.00 and $1400.00 which I did NOT make or authorize those charges. Immediately contacted my banks fraud department and the establishment is now under investigation. Also contacted the police and BBB, was told that there are a lot of complaints from other customers for the same thing. Had to close my bank account and along with my bank will be pressing fraud charges to the fullest extent against Mermaids in St, Pete. What a bunch of PATHETIC THIEFS THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!! So me and a few of my girls went in because we were at riptides with a few of our friends and they didn’t have the liquor my girl wanted. We were with a group of 4 guys but they wanted to finish the drinks they purchased before meeting us next door.
