We just discovered this nice cafe in St Pete Beach this month and have been twice already. I always order several pastries, a latte, and a prosciutto/fresh mozzarella sandwich (swapping bread for croissant) and hubby gets the Italian. So good! Thiiick mozzarella slices, you can taste the freshness. The prosciutto almost melts in your mouth. Slightly tangy at bites from the drizzled balsamic vinegar. Buttery, flaky, big croissant. Excellent portion, but nearly $10. It's quality though. Italian sandwich comes loaded with the meats, worth the price.

All the cookies and pastries we have tried have been very good, but my favorite are the wedding cookies loaded with white powder sugar and almond flavor. Loooveee.

Service has always been very friendly.

It has been so packed every single time we have gone though, without much social distancing inside (it's harder due to limited diverting). The bar seating area doesn't have any signs instructing patrons to space out / leave one chair at least in-between if they are not from the same party. With so many people close together and talking to each other there, we ended up walking out with our little bags and finished our meal at home today.

We are definitely coming back, but will be ordering takeout until the pandemic eases or if we come early enough to snag a socially-distanced table outside. Great...

Our recent stay at Pete's beach, we decided to stop in for breakfast here, with all the decent ratings online. The pastry choices looked abundant, the views were the best part. Unfortunately the service or food matched the views. Upon entering, not welcoming at all, several staff there couldn't bother. Asked for menu and went for breakfast and americanos. The coffee was bitter and tepid, such a surprise for the machines there. The only thing colder than the eggs on our plate (poor presentation and servied on paper plates - certainly not matching the price they charge, but did match the flavor). Our server, use that word lightly, was argumentive about the dish and of course wanted to add credit/debit card charges for the privelage and adding the overpriced food. The crossiant although a good size, not fresh and bland. I belive smiles would have been an extra charge, could not have gotten out of there any faster and we went elsewhere for breakfast. Make some effort to the service and presentation to be at least half as sweet as the pastries looked. I was not wearing a tee shirt, "I am a tourist, treat me as such." so do not get...

A Delightful Italian Café in St. Pete Beach

Nestled in the heart of St. Pete Beach, this charming Italian café is a hidden gem for anyone who loves authentic flavors and a cozy atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, the warm aroma of freshly baked focaccia fills the air, promising a treat for your taste buds.

The focaccia is nothing short of perfection—crispy on the outside, airy and soft on the inside, with just the right balance of olive oil, herbs, and sea salt. Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with fresh toppings, it’s a must-try for any bread lover.

Complementing the focaccia is their cappuccino, expertly crafted with rich, velvety espresso and perfectly frothed milk. Every sip is smooth, bold, and comforting, making it the ideal companion to a leisurely morning or afternoon break.

With its welcoming ambiance, friendly service, and a menu full of authentic Italian delights, this café is the perfect spot for a relaxing escape. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or lingering over coffee and conversation, it’s an experience worth savoring. Highly...

I've been coming to this place for years. La Casa Del Pane is owned by a couple from Italy. The food is amazing and authentic. It does get busy at times but that is to be expected being so close to the beach and especially during tourist season. Being named The House of Bread you cannot go wrong with their bread. Nothing better than when you get it and it is still warm from the oven. I have tried almost every type of bread they have and each one is amazing. I've also had their breakfast and it is another one of those things that is just outstanding. The coffee and pastries are another reason to come to this place. Please look at the pictures in this review as you know that a pictures worth a thousand words. There is also a great selection of Italian products such as wine, pasta, Dry Goods and candy which are all fantastic. They also have Frozen items you can take home I highly recommend the Italian wedding soup as a matter of fact all their soups are great. The only thing I would caution you about is the parking is tight and just be careful pulling in and out.
