Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Salem

Mohammad, the delivery man was extremely rude and condescending when trying to deliver to Bowditch Ave. He yelled and cursed at my friend picking up the pizza. Leading up to this, we had placed an order online and had set the order to be 1 Loring Ave (the Google Address for Bowditch Hall at Salem State) at 7:38pm exactly He had put the address in incorrectly, which is not a big deal: everyone makes mistakes and we are only human. Then he called being confused about the address, because he had put it in Swampscott. We explained to him that we were at Salem State. This is when he started becoming really condescending to who had placed the order. She tried explaining (very calmly) where we were located and where he needed to end up. When he got turned around he became irate and rude. We had two friends waiting outside for our pizza. They were standing directly under the street lamp in plain sight and view. Mohammad called once again saying that this whole ordeal was the first girl who ordered's fault and that if someone did not take the pizza in the next ten minutes he was going to take it back to the store and we would NEED to get it there. We finally direct him to a totally different street since apparently finding Bowditch is impossible. This is where it becomes totally inappropriate. He starts cursing out the friend we sent out to pick up the pizza from him. "I don't fking care how late I am. It doesn't fking matter B**ch". She loses it on him before stomping away. She brought the cold pizza and cold lava cakes. Honestly Mohammad ruined this whole experience. I'm only giving a second star because when we called in total tears from the experience who ever answered (We didn't catch their name) gave us a full refund, and sent us out a whole brand new order.

The new delivery guy that was sent was so so sweet and we really do wish we had a bigger tip for him because he apologize profusely for something that was not his fault. I wish we had caught his name so we could pay him the compliments he deserves.

Horrible service. If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered a pizza with peppers, mushrooms, and chicken. An hour later our pizza shows up with only jalapenos and onions on it. I called to complain (the pizza was insanely spicy regardless of a few wrong toppings) and was told that I was lying because the person on the phone had made it himself. He said "that's 100% not true, but whatever I'll send you a new one."

We waited an hour and a half for the new one - called to ask where it was and was told it was on it's way. Another half hour goes by. I called to say that it never came and at this point it's way past dinner-time and we just want a credit. I said we could send a picture of the other pizza for proof as we hadn't eaten it. The person on the phone said "fine" and hung up.

I was worried I wouldn't get my credit so I called back and asked to speak to a manager. He told me it was a credit by voice and I had to say my phone number - the credit won't be applied to my account for any other location. He then hung up. I never even received an apology and after all of that would have just preferred my $30 back. Completely awful customer service - avoid...

PIP:

I received the wrong order- a regular pizza - despite ordering gluten-free (I can’t eat gluten, and it wasn’t even the pizza I ordered). I only discovered the mistake after driving all the way home.

I called, and they told me they were putting in a new order. So I drove all the way back.

Turns out, they hadn’t even started remaking it. They only put the remake in once I arrived -which is absurd. If a customer calls and is told their new order is being made, it should be made… no?

I waited again, got the second order, drove all the way home again - and it was still wrong. I opened the box to find another regular pizza. If I could eat gluten, I would have just eaten it. But I can’t. That’s the whole point.

Two wasted trips, two wrong orders.

2 stars because I was able to give my wrong order to the homeless guys outside and they also said they regularly do...
