I am giving this location of the all famous McDonald's a one star. I prefer to give this location a 0 star, but I will give it a small credit. So tonight my grandfather and I went to get some food. We ordered on the computer and order: two Dubble quarter pounders, one: 20 piece chicken McNugget, and a chocolate shake. My grandfather wanted to pay with Cash so we went ahead and ordered to give the cashier our ticket. So far so good. However Not even 2 minutes in the wait our chocolate shake came however no number was called. There were many people there and a woman was hovering over the shake. The lady asked who is this chocolate shake for. One of the associates who seemed to be flirting with the lady said here take it. She received our shake that was soon later told that it was ours. THEN we were told that the grill to make the Q-pounders was broken. The man ahead of us also got a Q-pounder and was told that they can subdivide for another item on the menu. So he did. And then we waited, and waited. Other people that came after us got their stuff and three of us was left still being told that their grill was broken.
My grandfather talked to the manager at the time and asked for the money back, and stated: "We will go somewhere else." The manager tried to say well I can do something else for you. However My grandfather made up his mind and wanted his money back. A regular employee offered to help the manager who looked like he had no idea what he was doing. Right when he got the money into his hands, a lady from the back gave out our order number with everything, and leaving the person in front of us without his Q-pounder. Grandfather asked for the money back, but the manager hesitated to give the money back and said, well your order is here, and I just made a refund. (Not asking if we wanted the food or the refund.) He looked at us as if we were trying to cheapskate our way into having food for free. Grandfather asked for his money back, but he still hesitated but in the end gave GP the money. The lady who seemed to have a better knowledge of the store apologized, and said, just take it both. Money back and the food for the troubles that we had endured. In the end we left with no food for my grandfather didn't want to repay for the food. Which I understand with good reason. This is NOT the first time something like this has happened to us at this location. I plead with the corporate of this location would hire better quality associates such as the kind lady. Sadly I do not remember her name. I do however remember the name of the manager. (Names will not be given out.)
And I am sorry to inform you that my family and some friends will not be entering this location any time...
Read moreMcDonald’s employees want $15 an hour but they are some of the most rudest and most disrespectful employees out there. In Salisbury yesterday, my sister wanted a large mocha iced coffee. We wait about 5 minutes and she gets a medium frappe. We tell them this is not the correct item,10 minutes on it, tell the manager who was also a grumpy unfriendly lady, 5 more minutes go by we have to keep waiting, just standing there no one acknowledging our existence, remind someone again and finally get it and it’s just thrown on the counter and no “ sorry” no “ have a good day” no nothing. No apologetic actions at all. And what she finally got was a medium ice coffee.
Forget it, I know customer service sucks I did customer service almost 10 years of my life and I have NEVER been so rude and disrespectful to a customer. On my worse days I was always so friendly and kind, people told me they loved coming to Walmart to see me, I know how customer service is. But when I’m polite and kind to you why are you being so rude and disrespectful to me? You make a wrong be the adult that you are supposed to be and own up to it and APOLOGIZE. I’ll never give McDonalds any of my money again. I rather pay $25 for a combo than be treated...
Read moreToday, 1-24-2019, I visited this location between10:30am and 10:45am in the drive thru. Gentlemen who took the order through the intercom seemed very annoyed with me. I asked for 2, 4 pc, chicken nugget kids meal and he cut me off to tell me it would be a little bit since they are transitioning from breakfast to lunch. In which, I replied that it was fine. Then I started over and said 2, 4 pc, chix nug kids meal again, he cut me off and said what kind. I said what do you mean? He said there's different sizes? Even though I already said the size I said it again, politlely, aand interrupted me AGAIN to ask me what sides. So I started over one more time. And he interrupted me AGAIN, with a smart tone in his voice, slowly repeating the sides. I just left. I had my 4 and 5 year old in the car and was frustrated. I have worked in the restaurant field and retail field and I really hated it, I hated customer service, all of it. So, I get it. I'm pretty easy going, and generally don't complain (until now) and very polite. Even when someone is being slightly rude, because I get it. But I mean, I couldn't get two words out of my mouth with out him interuppting and I felt like no matter how nice I was, he would not...
