I would’ve easily given you guys 5 stars but there were some issues. We went in yesterday we had a large party. - sorry we just got done at a graduation. We arrived at 12. We told them and they seemed okay with it. Our waiter Remington arrived shortly. I’m saying he did a good job considering the amount of people we had. The blonde girl that was helping him had some major attitude. I work in retail and I’ve work in food for years, I understand how frustrating this could be but we weren’t being a hard group of people. We were super easy going and were just chilling. We weren’t demanding of any sort so I didn’t understand where all this was coming from. As Remington was serving us he was trying to find the best way. He did. Then he said he’d split the checks at the end. Cool right? Then as we were eating he said to the hostess, dang we are so busy right now!! We usually don’t get busy around 2! While looking at us. The restaurant was nearly empty. They both laughed. Then he had some regulars come in and said Hold on! I have to spilt this check in like 8 different ways! This is crazy!!! Right in front of us and in reality it was only 5 and we made it very easy for him. I guess my meal with my large family would’ve been so nice if he and this blonde lady wouldn’t have kept making petty remarks. If I did this at my store and guests would’ve heard me I would’ve been immediately pulled off the floor and asked to go home. I don’t think I’d ever go back this location again with such a large party. And I really don’t understand why he was so angry since we paid him even more in tips. My husband and I had a 32$ and literally left him in $16. That’s not including that gratuity that was already...

Read moreI’ll start by stating that I really like Chili’s. This was my first visit to this SLC location though, and it was quite a let down. I hadn’t tried the triple dipper but the honey chipotle tenders are usually on-point so I got those and the Fried Mozzarella along with boneless wings. Thank goodness they were coated in sauce so I didn’t just have to throw them all out 🫠
The chicken was truly the driest I have ever had, (Even compared to McDonalds and other sub par places as well). The tenders are normally nice and hot and juicy but these were literally cold and so dry I could barely bite through them. It tasted like they had been over cooked the day before and then just sat on the counter for a day before coating them in sauce and serving them to me. Really confused why they didn’t even drop them in the fryer for a minute to try to revive them before serving. I’ve worked in the food biz before and am very familiar with methods making older food at least a little more appealing but they didn’t even try. They literally rolled the cold + dry tenders/wings in lukewarm sauce and called it good. 🤢 the sauce is obviously ordered in and pre made so they couldn’t really screw that up.
Seems like the workers here just lack any care for customers and take no pride in what they do…
(and I would also note, I ordered the simplest type of food to prepare. It’s just frozen food that needs to be dropped in a fryer and they couldn’t even bother doing that)😔
Chilis as a chain is normally reliable but SLC is...
