These high ratings are insane. I’ve been to this place 3x since it opened and every. single. time. it is the slowest service I have ever experienced at a bar. And I travel for work, so I drink in a different city every week. Out of a huge sampling, this place is consistently the least capable—and it’s a different bartender every time, too! Each one less capable than the preceding visit. How does that happen? What is going on? Are these returned missionaries that have never seen liquor in their life? Do they know how bars function? It’s never even busy and they still can’t seem to greet you, take your drink order, or make the d*mn thing in a 15 minute time span. They don’t even clean up the bar between making cocktails (see photo) because they’re flat out clueless. Long story short: this place sucks. Avoid at all costs.

Neat little spot on the periphery of downtown. Cocktails were delicious, well balanced, and never overwhelming. And as the popularity of the espresso martini has grown, quality has generally gone down, but these bartenders nail it. Foodwise, selection is somewhat small, but fitting for the quality and the general vibe of the place. Meat and cheese board had excellent variety, and those deviled eggs were DELICIOUS. Excited to see how their menus expand and change, and I'll definitely be making another stop on my way downtown.

Does not take cash. Very cute little cocktail and kitchen. Parking isn’t too bad, there’s a little lot across the street. Food and drinks came out quickly, drinks were excellent. I had a zero-proof cocktail for $15. The food was very salty, and the whole pieces of prosciutto on the flatbread were tough to eat.

Nestled in the heart of downtown, Citizens offers a brunch experience that's sure to please even the most discerning palates. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a cozy atmosphere and the inviting aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls.

For those craving something sweet, the cinnamon rolls are a must-try. Looking for a more savory option? The eggs Benedict is a showstopper. Velvety hollandaise sauce cascades over perfectly poached eggs and thick slices of salmon, all nestled atop a golden English muffin.

Pair your meal with a mimosa or a crafted cocktail from their extensive drink menu to round out the experience.

With its charming ambiance, delectable dishes, and attentive service, Citizens is the perfect spot for a leisurely brunch with friends or a cozy date with a loved one. Make sure to add it to your brunch...

Don’t waste your time, over an hour for drinks.

I’m honestly still baffled by my experience last night at Citizens. My girlfriends and I arrived just after 7PM but half of our group did not receive their drinks until after 8:30PM. The bar was not very busy, although there was a large party there. We tried to help the ordering process by walking up to the bar and ordering drinks. I fear nothing could have helped our experience as the bartender offered no sympathy for taking over an hour to make drinks, the bar itself was cluttered and dirty with dishes and beer cans. It was no surprise when the bartender said there were not enough cups to even serve water.

I believe they are deleting poor reviews because there’s no way this was a one off experience. It has potential but I unfortunately will not...
