These high ratings are insane. I’ve been to this place 3x since it opened and every. single. time. it is the slowest service I have ever experienced at a bar. And I travel for work, so I drink in a different city every week. Out of a huge sampling, this place is consistently the least capable—and it’s a different bartender every time, too! Each one less capable than the preceding visit. How does that happen? What is going on? Are these returned missionaries that have never seen liquor in their life? Do they know how bars function? It’s never even busy and they still can’t seem to greet you, take your drink order, or make the d*mn thing in a 15 minute time span. They don’t even clean up the bar between making cocktails (see photo) because they’re flat out clueless. Long story short: this place sucks. Avoid...

Don’t waste your time, over an hour for drinks.

I’m honestly still baffled by my experience last night at Citizens. My girlfriends and I arrived just after 7PM but half of our group did not receive their drinks until after 8:30PM. The bar was not very busy, although there was a large party there. We tried to help the ordering process by walking up to the bar and ordering drinks. I fear nothing could have helped our experience as the bartender offered no sympathy for taking over an hour to make drinks, the bar itself was cluttered and dirty with dishes and beer cans. It was no surprise when the bartender said there were not enough cups to even serve water.

I believe they are deleting poor reviews because there’s no way this was a one off experience. It has potential but I unfortunately will not...
