Panda Express — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

First thing I need to address is the young lady who had a boy hair cut, Caucasin and is about 18 years old. I believe her name is Alex with freckles and braces and . She was a total badass! Seriously was working as fast as she could. The line kept getting bigger and wouldn’t die down. This girl maintain her composure and Kept her momentum. Seriously, such a hard worker!! The kitchen had three cooks, and the front had only two. We only saw the young lady busting her chops to get this line taken care of. She attempted to ask for help and was ignored! 🤯 honestly I couldn’t believe it. The other person was generous with the amount of food he would put on the plate but was extremely slow. Bottom line, the girl should be recognized for being a hard worker and should be given a raise. She genuinely wanted to help get everyone’s order and out the door. I was extremely impressed by her work ethic. PANDA give her a RAISE. She was getting the line taken care of, getting the online orders, and making sure to inform the cooks of what was needed. She honestly seemed to be the only one there doing most of the work. Her colleagues were disinterested and slow. The food, as always was delicious. The place was a bit of a mess, but it was expected considering how busy they were. Please review any footage and give her the recognition she deserves. Awesome work ethic and extremely friendly !! In days of yore, Panda Express chains appeared across the countryside and conquered the western world with their high-caloric orange chicken. Nearly every patron bellying up to the counter felt compelled to order it, and gladly did so. A Panda Express was a Panda Express was a Panda Express. You could count on what you were getting, regardless of location.

Fast-forward to today. Something's changed. I don't know if it's for the better.

This particular panda-outlet is right near my work, so it has been in the lunch rotation for some time now. Somewhere around middle-May-ish, the orange chicken here started tasting quite not so tasty. It's like I woke up from an orange chicken-laden dream.

Maybe it's just this location? Maybe they changed cooks? Cut corners on the recipe? But where historically the chicken batter (we'll call it the "coating") was crispy-yet-tender-slash-flavorful-but-moist, it has become, since that fateful May day, too hard, overdone, less tasty, more dry. Dunno what happened. So crispy, in fact, that it has been hard to chew. So crispy, in fact, that my Panda-issue plastic fork could not pierce its impenetrable hide. My regular lunch mate and I have scratched our heads, chalked it up to chance, come back and tried it again, decided it was not just chance, and scratched our heads some more.

I had the chow mein no problem never did had the honey walnut shrimp still no problem I get to the Mongolian beef or whatever it was the one with peppers where its sweet and spicy aftertaste love it every time...till now it tasted foul as if the meat was soiled and they didn't clean with nontoxic cleaner prior I tasted chemicals in in the first bite I ran to the bathroom I puked in the toilet that smelled as if 1000 sewer rats died in the pipes then I felt better until I drank the soda I noticed more issues with the Panda Express in Sugarhouse they had trash overflowing horribly and they took over an hour change it and they weren't short handed by any means nor were they busy they're soda fountain was filthy never saw them clean that and they did not clean the tables where people left before we did where they ate our tables were also nasty to boot it was sticky and unsanitary until they right there wrongs for giving me food that tasted horrible which has never happened and correct they're cleanliness I WILL NOT RETURN CAN AND WILL DEFER PEOPLE FROM THAT LOCATION cmon guys your popularity and business is fading away stop slacking get it into gear I don't want Panda Express to fade away and be remembered as a gross facility what happened to your quality in service and pleasant sit in or even outside for a quality meal and enjoy the scenery I...
