Sad to report that this was the worst Chili's experience I've ever had. Normally I'd dine-in, but today I was not able to for lunch. Why not try a restaurant I trust and a better meal than fast food??? BOY was I wrong today. Placed my order online. Paid for order online. Gave meeting instructions. Waited the time time was given. App stated arrived, but it had not. I stood close to the entrance and then finally saw a car move in a strange direction in the parking lot. Did he get into my food? It IS the Doordash guy. He starts of by saying I tried to call you, but it wouldn't go thru. They didn't have your soup. He shrugged his shoulders, handed me the bag and left. So I call the restaurant right away to inquire about the missing soup. First person states they didn't have it. She transferred me to the Mgr. Jojo...which I had to ask did the previous person tell you anything. He said "Yes. About some soup? The doordash driver tried to call me. Went on about not having the soup and could be delivered tomorrow. Then, after that not working for me, I'm quesrioninh what else do you have in replace of what I ordered. Finally he goes on to say they have chili. I'm thinking this is still horrible service, but fine. He follows it up with but it can't be delivered right now. First of all I'm in a hotel, no car and placed an order for delivery. If your location can not handle nor communicate with your paying customer.....this establishment should not have this as an option. He offered 1/2 off my order which is something, but not the ultimate solution I was looking for. How about good customer service? How about listen and not thinking you know my situation; who I had to feed and take care of. After all of that once opened the container....OMG the food was cold. The sandwich looked to have been thrown around on top of no soup which was going to be my dinner. So...all in all a horrible experience. I'll try not to hold it against Chili's as a whole, but definitely will NOT partake in this particular location EVER! The entire experience wasn't even worth $5. $20 down the drain. Its sad enough about the soup, but the lack of care and compassion for their...
Read moreWhen we first walked in to the restaurant, there was no hostess. We stood waiting for someone to come around and help us. A server came up to the front and asked how many there was of us, I told her 3. She grabbed some menus and walked us to a table. I guess the table was dirty, I’m not sure but she made a comment like the table isn’t wiped down. She seemed very agitated that the table wasn’t wiped down. She veered off to the right and walked to another table without saying anything to us. ( like for us to follow her) When I finally noticed that she was trying to seat us at another table I followed her. She removed a dirty bowl with a napkin in it off the table and proceeded to seat us at that table. I noticed there was a puddle of some type of liquid underneath the table. The time in our food coming out wasn’t too bad compared to other times that I’ve eaten at this specific location. I will say the silverware wasn’t 100% completely clean, neither were the plates our food was served on. At the end of our experience I didn’t see my server anymore so I got up and asked another server if I could have a to-go box. She said yes ma’am and turn right back around and continued to do what she was doing on her computer screen. After waiting for what seemed like forever, I got my kids and we left. I will also say that while I was eating with my kids another family sitting at another table nearby was also experiencing a problem with their food and being double charged on...
Read moreMy wife and I eat out quite often. We wanted to try something not to pricey yet set down restaurant service. We originally decided on TGIF. However, they're no longer locations in San Antonio. So we decided on Chili's. Service was OK. My wife ordered the Carnitas fajitas which came out warm and definitively not sizzling or even hot. Our food possibly was setting, ready but waiting to get ran to our table and lost its heat. I ordered the pick three grilled items, with fries and street corn on the cob. The corn was not fresh and had no taste, i think they boil it before they grill it because it was extremely mushy. As one of my grilled items I chose the grilled sausage that came out cold and was possibly not fresh and the fries were cold. I would of mentioned it at the time but it took our food longer than it should have to make it to the table and I was hungry and I did not want to risk the time it would of took to fix what was not good. I left not satisfied because I should of just ordered a burger because I've had that before here. If there is a next time (will definitely be a while) I'll just stick to something simple and leave ribs and other grilled items to a restaurant that specializes in...
