Absolutely the worst dining experience ever!! I brought a small group of high school students to dinner thinking this would be a fun experience for them. There was about an hour and a half wait. While waiting, one of my students needed to use the restroom. They were stopped from going in and were told that it would be a $5 charge. They explained they were waiting on a table but was still told it would be $5 and was not allowed to go to the restroom. Next, was waiting for a “first come, first serve” table to be cleaned so that we could sit down and the server was extremely rude and yelling that if we sat down that she would not be cleaning the table. No one had sat down or was attempting to sit down. I admit that I did not find her rudeness entertaining at all. She continued to mouth out and being rude and I told her that she could keep her table that I would not be eating there. However, 4 of my boys were very disappointed and really wanted to eat there and get “roasted”. I allowed them to stay and I took the rest of the group to a neighboring establishment. When everyone had finished eating, we walked back to our hotel. During this walk, I find out that the guys did not receive anything that they ordered. They were all given burgers. They were told that they only had water to drink and Diet Dr Pepper but they were not getting that and was given water. So far, I can overlook all of this. However, the stopper is when I find out that one of my students paid for his $10 burger (that he never ordered in the first place) with a $50 and the server refused to give him his change back. Being rude and insulting is one thing but stealing from my student is a whole different level!! He was able to recoup $10 of his stolen $40 by taking the tip money the other 3 guys were going to leave. I plan to try to contact management tomorrow about this issue. Avoid this establishment!!
Update: I spoke with the General Manager today, who was super nice. The situation with the change not being returned, is...
Read moreI've never left a review about a restaurant that I didn't eat at but this will be the first. We walk up and the place was about 60% full. Outside they have about 10 picnic style tables. 6 of them had people using them. 2 tables needed to have the prior guests food removed and area cleaned. And 2 tables were cleaned and ready to use. We sat down and after some time I asked the host if a waiter was working outside or if we order at the bar. He asked if I was on the waiting list. I told him I was not on the list. He then told me that there is a 1 hour and 45 min wait. That was strange considering nobody else was around. I then called and a lady picked up the phone and I asked if there are any tables available. She said that there is a 2 hour wait. Seems odd that within seconds the wait time increased without any new people putting their name on the "list". I then pointed out that there are 2 tables that are ready to seat people and 2 other tables that just need to be cleaned. With a sarcastic reply she said "thank you for pointing this out". I then hung up as there are plenty of other places to eat at. I don't blame them as much as I do management. If a business has terrible service you must look up the chain. To the people that I interacted with, you will never be more until you learn service, that is your role. To the management, you are losing more business than you know and every business is in business to make money. Word of encouragement, management and employees should go work at Chick-fil-A, learn then apply.
In response to your reply…. Just like you’re employees, you’re missing it entirely. It’s not the long wait per-say, it’s the service, the attitude and overall preformance of your restaurant. I can assure you that I will not give you another chance and it will only be a matter of time that you will see an adverse effect in the long run. I’m a business owner myself and understand the importance of...
Read moreI can not express the level of fun we had at Dick’s! Literally the best time I have had in such a long time!! We went there for my oldest daughter’s 24th birthday and to say it was a blast is an understatement. I’m talking laughing until we couldn’t breathe! We told them it was my daughter’s birthday and boy did they do it up! They have a live band and the lead singer sang to my daughter and even incorporated her name in the song. I mean they are so rude in the nicest funniest way ever! I mean they are actually laughing too at how rude and funny they are. Our waitress Victoria was AMAZING!! She was so funny. The things they say have you dying laughing. But when she brought us our drinks and threw our straws at us and walked away we were laughing so hard. She turned back around and was laughing too! This place is funny and fun! The jokes are flowing all night! It’s such a chill environment! You get to know people around you too, because you want to see what their hats say. And no one knows what their hats say, they just slap a hat on you with something funny on it and everyone around you are laughing. We actually got to know the table next to us because they were celebrating a birthday that night as well and it was just a super fun experience! The food is NOT mediocre! The food is AMAZING!!!! Omg! We was there for the experience. Our first time there and didn’t know the food was going to be so amazing as well. You will not be disappointed and you will walk out of there with your cheeks and stomach hurting from laughing all night! Thank you so much for making our whole families night so much fun. We are all still talking about the experience still. If I could give y’all 10...
