I made reservations for my daughters 18th birthday. When we got there Alli had 2 separate tables for us. I told her that was the whole point in making reservations so we could sit together. She said they didn’t have tables that could be put together. She was extremely rude. I told her what was the point of making reservations if we’re sitting separately. I was charged $150 just for the reservation. There were plenty of tables available. My party of 20, that I had made reservations for didn’t fit in 2 tables. So I grabbed a 3rd open table. She said I couldn’t do that. She said it’s first come first serve. Exactly I was there first. The 2 tables fit 16 people, uncomfortably. I paid for 20 people. Our lady sever who couldn’t clearly give me her name when I asked, Bel or Vel, was extremely rude as well. My guests tried ordering drinks with the QR codes on tables and they didn’t work. She brought the manager Allie, and she said you have to scan it, it works for me. Yes, the app opened and then you couldn’t click or order anything. My guests had to show her on her phone that it was Not working. She came back later to say they had fixed it. By that time my guests had already gotten up to order their drinks. They messed up one of my guests order and refused to give her a refund, and said we can make it for you again. The burger was terrible. It had a huge bun, and every bite was more bread than anything. They came by our table a few times to “check” if we needed anything. Each time they were rude and snarky with not only myself but my guests. We cleaned the tables ourselves. Threw our guests trash and so on. Alli, the “general manager”, and the lady server were rude, snarky and ruined our night. This was our first and last time there. Disappointed in the poor...
Read moreA truly hidden gem on the Riverwalk. Or maybe I just don't get over to this side of town enough. I didn't know we had anything like this locally. I thought parking might have been expensive or difficult, but we didn't have to pay anything, and were only a block from the entrance in a lot, not the street, right near the highway. The whole place reminds me of an outdoor concert venue, only without the huge stage or pit in front. They offer a wide variety of mixed drinks (& Jello shots) and tap beer, as well as food. We didn't try the food, but we had several different drinks, and everything was tasty. Lots of plants; there was a lushness to the entire setup, which is hard to achieve for a bar, considering most of them are tucked inside dark buildings by design. The back of the venue opens directly onto the Riverwalk, where we were hanging out, talking to the tourists and people walking their dogs (animal-friendly, btw). I'm not sure how many people the place could ultimately hold, but I'd say there were probably 150 people there by the time we left, perhaps more. It was crowded, but I didn't feel overwhelmed. Seating might have been a challenge, but we didn't really try to get a table. Around nightfall, a swing acrobat (is that the correct phrase?) started some light entertainment, and at some point a DJ started playing. Vendors were selling what looked like LEDs either inside or wrapped around clear balloons. I want to say someone started spinning fire. It really reminded me of the rave scene in the early '00s the later the night progressed. There was a lot going on to say the least. Highly recommended; will...
Read moreBeen here several times from a weekend afternoon and weekday night. Either time it is the same experience. Nice outdoor area with many tables in the central area and some overlooking the water. It is usually pretty crowded, but the tables open up quickly. There's usually live music that isn't too loud and allows you to have conversations at the table. There are 2 walk-up bar areas with very friendly staff and great customer service. One time they recognized me in line with an open tab, so came out and took my order in line. That was very impressive customer service. There is a wide range of beers and cocktails at a reasonable price.
The food truck on the side serves up a wide range of food from sandwiches, burgers, finger foods. This is a great place to enjoy the outdoors over some food, drinks, and live music. Great staff and always nicely decorated. Not sure if all the time, but there's often vendors they support by allowing them to set-up their tables on their property. Great way to support the local,...
