This place is a lot of fun and definitely worth checking out. So hard to do and it's really fun to take the Riverboat shuttle which is different from the river boat cruise. For $17 per person they will pick you up and drop you off all the way up at the Pearl and bring you all the way down more popular portion of the Riverwalk. It's a great way to draw and you can get on and off as many times as you want for 24 hours

Well number 1, it's no Panama Canel, lol. But I found it to be quite interesting. The Riverwalk Tourist Barges pull into the lock, the door closes then the barge goes up or down depending on the direction it is traveling. There is an excellent vantage point to watch the whole operation and the tourists usually wave. If you are at all interested in how things work, then check this out.

Went on a day drink with my love. Visited the Pearl and walked along the river. It was absolutely beautiful and a nice, relaxing day. All the passerbys are extremely friendly and welcoming. It's hard to believe at times that we have some of the best scenery downtown in the heart of San Antonio. Lots of things to partake in the area as well from bars, shops, to restaraunts

Had a great day in San Antonio. Walked a little over 3 miles of river front. San Antonio obviously has a homeless problem that it needs to place resources into. As a visitor, it was a little unnerving. I did see women walking in less traveld areas with small children, so my uncertainty may only be a matter of perspective. Either way, the day was nice and the Riverwalk is...
